mummymrs2b, 17 November, 2012 at 10:06 Posted on Planning 0 10

I still need to buy everything to go with my dress... Shoes, veil, tiara, jewellery. But not sure what to go with as there's sparkle, pearls, etc on my dress. Then flower type ruching at the bottom.

    Ok.

I think sparkly shoes would be lovely with this dress

A fairly simple headband, like but more sparkly perhaps...

A plain waist length veil and simple stud earrings, no necklace.

    Dress is a beaut ?

Lovely dress! The detailing is gorgeous, but not over the top - as it has pearls in it you could match it with some pearl earrings? As for the veil, the only thing i'd avoid is lacey detail as I don't think that would go.

I think anything goes with shoes tbh! Its a long dress so you won't see them that much anyway, but a flash of sparkly shoes does look good!

Beautiful dress! I agree with no necklace but some sparkly big earrings would look great maybe a small bracelet and something simple for your hair.

What a stunning dress - I love the detail, and the way the skirt is gathered!

Hair accessories wise, I would go with something asymmetric that echoes the detailing on the dress. There are several on this page that you might like -
If you click on any of these images, the correct page on my website should open up in a new window, except the last pair of earrings as they are brand new and haven't been uploaded yet - will get around to that next week!

Please do let me know if I can be of any help at all!

I think simple shoes, satin with a shoe brooch on the front or on one side. Although your shoes won't really be seen, I'd want to keep the focus on the detail of the dress.

I agree with chandelier earrings if you are wearing your hair up, if you are wearing your hair down just go for sparkly studs and then vamp up your hair accessories. The suggestions that have been shown so far are fabulous and totally suit the detail on your dress. I think it does have to be a combination of sparkle and pearls. The size just depends on your earrings choice.

A statement bracelet would be good as it will be at a similar level as the waist detail on your dress - I'd wear it on the 'plainer' side of the dress to balance it out.

It is a gorgeous dress, I love how all the detail is focused in one dramatic piece. Also, the shape looks like it will be really flattering.

I'm having my hair half up half down I think. Think ill just go for smaller earrings with having my hair down and I'm not sure I'm daring enough for big ones anyway. Thanks for the advice.
