Now a Mrs report **FLASH**

LittleMissB, 30 April, 2012 at 21:17 Posted on Planning 0 9

Wednesday 25th April - My now sister in law, arrived down to help out with things left to do, we began the day with heading to the market to confirm flowers for the collection on Thursday, this was quite exciting as I had been eager to see if he had managed to get the large headed deep red roses I was hoping for . . . and yes he had, was so pleased. We gota few more last minute things and headed home to finalise music and put some finishing alterations to my youngest daughters dress.

The whole day was so chilled and laid back and I was suprisingly calm untill that evening when myself and sis in law sat down to eat dinner together, the most sickening feeling of absolute fear filled me, I was almost in tears and couldnt snap out of it. Sis said I went as white as a ghost and sent me to bed for an early night as she felt that I had just been doing too much and needed to just rest it out. I went to bed very early and glad I did as the next morning I felt back to normal and completley relaxed and ready to get on with everything else.

Thursday 26th April - This was the last time I would see the groom until the day itself, as he left in the morning to head to the Best mans house said our goodbyes and that was that next time I would see him I would become his wife. Later that morning we again headed to market to collect our beautiful flowers ready to be arranged at home, I had been dying to do this and couldnt wait. The rest of this day up until around the time I picked up the kids from school is a complete blur and cannot remember for the life of me what else we did up untill this point. ? At around 4 pm I started working on the flowers and began to get slightly stressed as they just wouldnt sit right on the top of the vase, I must admit I became a slight bridezilla at this point and snapped a tad at people oooops.

My best friend arrived and shortly after so did my MOH and Bridesmaids to head down to the venue to set up, this has to be the most stressful part as there were boxes everywhere and people left right and centre all wanting to know what needs to go where argggghhhhh stressssssss lol

On route to the hotel we had some damage to one of the flower arrangements, which almost made me cry but hey worse could of happened, my MOH came up with a excellent idea to mend and sort all the other arrangements involving skewers that she shot over to the shops to get along with the candles that I had completely forgot to buy .... Phew. At one point near the end of finishing all the setting up she made me step back and take a look at what she described as ''all my hard work'' it looked amazing and I had created it I felt so proud and couldnt wait for hubby to see it x

We arrived home at nearly 12 pm shattered I managed a glass of wine and along with all the other girlies admitted defeat and headed to bed.

Friday 27th April - The Wedding !!!!!!

I was woken up by rain on the window and by my son who had spent the night in my bed due to being poorly with a lingering ear infection that he had had all week bless him, he decided that at half 6 in the morning he wanted a drink so there I was the morning of my wedding downstairs in the kitchen making him a drink feeling surprisingly calm, I headed back upstairs to be greeted by SIL with ''happy wedding morning'' yeyyyyyyy. Went back to bed for about half an hour then had to be up to start curling my 2 girls hair, it ended up looking great and by 9 oclock I was heading out to the hairdressers, again cool as a cucumber didnt think this would be the case I thought I would be a nervous wreck so absolutly schocked myself. My mum arrive to have her hair done and when they had finished I put her makeup on for her as I had promised this was a great moment as we got to spend some time together before everything got busy, I kissed her good bye and that was it I was back to being alone it was at this point I started thinking about my groom and this made well up, I just couldnt wait to see him and it finally felt real.

My best friend arrived to take me back home, I remember running back to the car as it was still raining Grrrrrrr arrived home to see all the bridemaid hair done and my 2 girls had had a little make up put on they looked so pretty and now it was my turn, half way through the make up the house phone started ringing my MOH brought the phone to me with a slight worried look on her face to say it was the car company. . . . the first thing I remember him saying is 'Basically the thing is ...... lol I thought this is what men say when there about to give you bad news ? I was right apparently the s - class mecedes that I had booked had an issue with it and they wouldnt be able to use it so I had a choice of an Audi or a baby bently I chose the baby bently and had him reassure me it wasnt a limo really didnt want a limo would not be my first choice (sorry to any ladies who like them I just dont !!)

Fast forward to the mad rush that proceeded it was time to get the dress on and head to venue, this flew by and before I knew it I was ready to step out the door and see my car ......... yep it was a limo ? but after that point i didnt care I just wanted to see my man and even the fact that it was still raining didnt dampen my mood, I couldnt wait and was so excited my little man came along in the car with me and my brother (who was giving me away) which I loved and he loved even more.

We arrived at the venue and as soon as I spotted my mum through the glass doors that was it I melted my brother bless him kept saying breath sis breath lol. I was whisked upstairs to have a quick meeting with the registrars, then this was it, this was really happening.

All the bridal party waited in line outside the doors ready to enter the music started and the doors opened cue my youngest daughter having the fear of god hitting her and breaking into a fit of screaming my son bless him, headed straight in on his own bold as brass straight to his daddy to give him a big cuddle after all the bridal party I followed with my brother, I was fine until i reached the end saw my husband and welled up again and again when my mum said 'i do' to the part of giving me away and then again through the vows lol. I wasnt the only blubber hubby was tearful too ? There was a giggle tho at one point where the registrar asked if there was anyone who objected and hubby turned round to scan the room. From here we were soon after announced as Husband and Wife everything after this was jus perfect and again I cried at all the speeches lol

It was perfect even if it did rain most of the day and I arrived in a limo

I thought I would show a few pics from our special day, as I know all you ladies love a good flash.

Proffesional ones are still being edited but here are a few that friends and family have posted online

Sorry for huge pics !!!!

Thanks for that, you do look lovely, agree loving the pic of you and the littlies, bet you're really looking forward to the professional photos. Interesting to read about your children's reactions, as I think my 2 are similar ages to your youngest 2 (although our lad is 'best man' and will be 'up front' with his dad when me and princess arrive). I'm with you on the limo issue, I would've felt a little bit mad, too. So glad your joy of the day defied the weather and transport x
