    This;

    It's My Party - Dave Stewart & Barbara Gaskin

    I've never heard of it so off to Google.

    ETA - Yes, I have heard of this song and it sums up exactly how I am feeling at the moment!

    Let's go for a little walk, da-da-da-da, under the moon of love, da-da-da-da, let's sit doooown and talk, da-da-da-da, under the moon of love, I wanna tell ya (wanna tell ya) that I love ya (that I love ya) and I want you to be my girl, darlin' let's walk (let's talk) under the moon of love.

    Can't beat a bit of Showaddywaddy - didn't even have to look it up. I also love my birthday song and sing it to my guidedaughter!

    Madonna's Into The Groove was the number one single. Number one album was Madonna's Like A Virgin. My pa bought the LPs when I was born so I have them somewhere, together with the Radio Times I believe!

    I'm still waiting by Diana Ross, August 1971.

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R1iAtoX9DKk

    Hmm, is it wrong that I remember this track? I think one of my big brothers had the Album or something. Or maybe when dad was listening to the radio good old Terry Wogan would put it on.
