NVQs - anyone done one?

The Beast, 31 March, 2009 at 18:08 Posted on Off Topic Posts 0 6

I'm doing an NVQ 3 in Business Administration through work and I have a question I can't find an answer to. Is it simply a pass/fail qualification, or is there a sliding scale (pass/distinction etc)?

Thanks?

I'm doing a level 3 in another area, but I'm pretty sure they are all a pass / needs more work to pass.

Yep, that's what my tutor told me last week too. I think if it's a "need more work" you just add more evidence and keep adding until you have enough.

I did an NVQ 4 in Learning & Development. As everyone else says it's just pass or fail. The good news is they're piss-easy ?

Yes it is just pass/need more work. I did NVQ Level 3 Business Administration about 4 years ago. It is easy to do as long as you are getting the experience at work. My tutor was a bit 'pedantic' and I felt like I did alot more work than was really necessary. I enjoyed doing it.
