    Hiya twin!

I'm on holiday so I've managed to do quite a lot (as we're doing everything ourselves!)

Next week I'll have to post my French paperwork to the French Consulat and hope it's all in there (it's a bit of a nightmare!). I also have to phone the registra to organise our final meeting to discuss readings, vows, music etc.

Then I'll be able to do our "order or the day/of service" type thing.

I have my hair & make-up trial on this Wednesday and I'm soooo excited about it!

My dress fitting is on September 26th.

And, last but not least... my hen week-end is in 2 weeks!!! And I haven't got a clue what/where/who...

    Getting soooooo near arghhhh eeeeekkk.

    Hi ladies.

We now have just under 6 weeks to go!!!! It is getting so real now. Counting down every day.

    It is going relly quick.

Most things are now sorted. We had our final meeting with the hotel earlier this week, which was really good. We got all the details we needed and they went step by step through the day - timings, etc. We just go and see them a week before to do last minute things.

Photographer is all paid up and we go and see them in a couple of weeks to discuss pics.

Our wedding rings arrived yesterday and they are gorgeous - although I have nothing good to say about the company we got them from because they were bloody awful to deal with.

The adult bridesmaid dresses arrived last week and next week I am taking them for a try on and for them to get measured for fittings.

Suits are all sorted - just the 2 page boys to be measured in 3 weeks time.

Me and my mum spent a day sorted out the table plan, menu cards, etc. and I packed up individual boxes for each table to make them easy to set up on the day. Have also bagged up most of the presents and the kiddies favours.

Still waiting for the call about my dress.... am going to call them on friday if they haven't rung. Getting a bit twitchy about it now.

It has been a busy few days.

Just under 8 weeks to go for us and I've gone from having nothing done to having loads done. Got my dress (though waiting on delivery), bridesmaid dresses came friday (went to my parents and they still haven't let me see them), Ordered silk flowers they should be coming in 2 weeks, can pick up wedding licence at the end of the week. Finally got all day invite rsvp's back so need to speak to the fish and chip shop.

Still need to get rings, and shrugs/boleroes something to cover up the bridesmaids, and they need to get shoes and hair bits. Need to sort out someone to do make up and book my final hair trial now i have my veil. Oh and still have a few evening invites to go out.

Is anyone else starting to get emotional? My sil2b got married on friday and i think i was more emotional then she was.

well heello fellow october girlies! Im at the 7 and a half weeks mark now! Very Scary! Theres been good and bad stuff tho. I had a job interview for a job which would be closer to where my OH and I will be living, and got a letter to say I have been unsuccessful in my application, but am the reserve candidate. So who knows where thats going!

well My mum put the stamps on my invites last night and is posting my day ones 2 morrow! Smiley smile The evening ones are going out next week! I have to finish them this week. The OH gave me a list of 20 more yest! so I have them to make, and He still needs to get the addresses for me! ARGH!! SO much to do, so little time!! I am gettin my hair trial on friday, and taking my FG for her dress fitting after! Then going shopping for her shoes and finishing the wedding list in debenhams! Mum is beinging my FG into the hairdressers as well to have a look at her hairm seeing I noticed last night she has had a new do! Its all layered, and a wee short styled fringe cut in!

I still need to confirm the pics with the tog. And need to let the vog know when the rehersal is!

I have confirmed the music with the singer at the weekend there, so alls good there!

I have to see the lady who is going the church flowers as well, but thats grand, cos I know shes really good and I know her well. Theres a few loose ends to tie up at the hotel as well. But thats ok! I also need to go in and sort with the other florist my mums buttonhole!

I have the bridesmaid gifts completely got now tho. "Thank-you" Willow-tree figures and pandora charms for the adults, chain, bracelet, and photoframe for the FG!

    Hi ladies!!

Just under 9 weeks to go for us and few things to do:-

We've not decided on any music at all apart from our first dance - we are hopefully having a brass 5 piece to play at the ceremony but H2B in charge of that and not yet finalised.

Ive got the favours to order, flowers to finalise, table plan and place cards to order, my dress and bridesmaids dress fittings to be arranged when we get the calls!

Mens suits measuring in couple of weeks and hair trial booked for end of Sept and make up trial to follow.

Still need pressies for ushers and best men and have final meeting with venue in four weeks.

Videographer booked and meeting with photographer in two weeks to arrange all the must have shots.

Also still on the weight loss trail - bad week this week as weve just been away for the weekend and attended a wedding eve do on Friday so mucho caolories consumed and drunk. Back on the straight and narrow methinks!!!!

Just under 6 weeks to go! Left to do is:

Table plan (work it out and make it)

    Thank you cards

Bridesmaids' dress fitting (2 dresses haven't come in yet and I'm getting twitchy! Plus one BM is pregnant so her alterations will be done very close to the day!)

    Finalise BM goody bags

Finalise 'emergency box' for bathroom at the reception

Chase up the MILLION evening rsvps that haven't come back!

Make OOS inners and put everything together

    Make menus

Cross my fingers that my favours will be sent soon!

    Make table number things

    Finalise accommodation for family

    Confirm numbers for buses home

    Speak to tog about pictures

Order hanging hearts to decorate pew-ends

    Have my 2 hen dos

Pick up my dress after alterations

    Think that's it!

I cant even be bothered to list all the things i have left to do as there is so much.

We have rings though, have paid the registrar so at least if nothing else is done we will be able to get married!

Hmmmm this is going to be scAry so i am going to admit to my complete disoganisation and then hide while i find out you have all finshed organising!

So I have a list of 60 odd things to do and it's growing. I think my only achievement of late is to buy wedding rings but now we need to OHs resized. so only 3 weeks lefts thats loads of time right?

We're doing mostly everything ourselves (including some of the food) so there's no way we're anywhere near ready. We won't be until the morning of the wedding but that's what we chose.

Final (?) appointment with the registrar 24th September

    Dress fitting 25th September

I have just booked our dancing lesson, 26th September

That will be a very busy weekend!

All my dentist appointments as well grrrrr

    French manicure trial next week

    Hair prep 9th October

20th/21st/22nd October all sorts of stuff (nail, tan, wax, etc)

MIL2B coming over next weekend so we'll sort out quite a lot with her I guess.

My to do list doesn't seemed to have decreased if anything increased one of the bridesmaid dresses doesn't fit so have to either try and swap or find her another one.

On the plus side (kind of) my flowers came I'm pretty pleased with them but going out wednesday to try and get something for my bouquet I think it just needs something whether its a bit of sparkle or some more flowers or greenery. Still waiting on my dress but fingers crossed it should definatly be here next week.

EEEKKK and my ticker keeps decreasing. Does anyone know how to freeze it just for a couple of days or add a few days on?

    I'm getting there, I feel much more optimistic this weekend than I was last as my WR and dress have both arrived this week and I've had my hair trial. To do list;

Final meeting with registrar - Wednesday
    Make Up Trial - Thursday
    Meeting with DJ - Friday
    Dress fittings - 21st Sept (me) 26th Sept (BM's)
    Finalise the flowers
Final suit fittings for the men
    Approve the centrepieces
    Buy a few gifts
Create list of must take photos
Create CD for ceremony and during dinner
Order table plan and place names
    Sort favours
    Pay everyone!!!

I'm sure there is more to do but I can't think off the top of my head!! x

My dress came and its gorgeous ( but I would say that ? ) but one of the capped sleeves has beads missing ☹️ so trying to sort that out. Just trying to sort out the order of service, partner is going to finalise bits and pieces with fish and chip shop and venue tomorrow. I'm going on wednesday to try and do someting with my bouquet , its all go this week. Though we did speak to the organist on sunday and he likes and knows all our hymns even offered to play "Oh I Do Like To Be Beside The Seaside" as we are having a seaside theme so might try incorporate that somewhere. Its all so exciting!

Not sure if I'm doing a table plan will know after partner speaks to venue actually off now to make a list of what we need to ask the club everytime i think about it there is more to be asked.

    33 days ? to go!
