Just reading through the October 2011 thread and since there seem to be lots of us, I thought maybe it'd be nice to have a list so we can all see easily who our date twins/triplets/etc are. Post your date and I'll add you in to the list ? 1st - Fatbride, Oldgal, Fruitbat83, Nena 2nd - Mrsdedewo 7th...

    haha still awake - I do actually want to see the northern lights after watching a program on it. I knew that timing was a must but have to admit I didn't know that years affected the activity too.....Wouldn't have even crossed my mind that the sun's activity would have been less in one year!!

    How's everyone's planning going? I've found there's not really much to do at the moment - all the big things are done except wedding rings. Made my headpiece this week as I wanted to something wedding-y. Here's a flash of it and my dress...

    Wow Lucy love love love your dress!! Cant believe you made your headpiece, its lovely, very clever! I bought some bits on ebay the other day to have a go at making my bridesmaids jewellery x

    Hi! I've had a very productive month. I've now booked the cake, florist and ordered my dress!! Here's a little flash for you all, although it looks quite different in real life.

    The cake will be similar to this but with purple roses and diamantes in them


    Any updates from anyone else?

    My invitations arrived yesterday! soooo excited,seems a little more real now. had loads of wedding stuff deliverd this week(table crystals,favours etc) so am on full on wedding mode. just need to sort florist and i think im about done till it gets closer to the date x

    I'm another 8th October bride. I've had a really productive month so far. We gave notice of marriage, booked our photographer, bought my dress, got our wedding rings, sorted a string duo for the ceremony and arranged the men's suits. We're hoping to book our reception venue next week but we have to wait for the hotel's wedding co-ordinator to return from her holidays.
