Just booked for august 2014 and 2 of the recommended caterers at the venue are already fully booked so i think you do right booking it early x

We booked for october 2014 in october 2012 so no not to early plus u may get a discount by booking early by having the prices now which will go up

Not for a venue, 2014 is already busy.

I just booked for July 2014 and it was one of the only Saturdays they had available that year! I have also had problems booking a videographer and photographer! Everyone was laughing at me when I said I was going to start booking these things but I'm so glad I have!!

I have venue for the 3rd so it official now lol

Well I shall be sharing the next year and a half with you then wedding buddies lol .... Would be good to keep track of how we plan things ..like when we send out invites etc toooo excited found so much I loveeeee.

I know, I have got a lot already because I just cant help myself lol. we have been planning since last october and it has been going so fast!

I have booked for August this year and many venues I went to in the search were allready booked up for the entire of june, July and August and september for next year. Its never too early!

We're getting married July 2014 and have already booked the cars, church, reception, photographer, CAKE GET IN THERE QUICK (we had 5 cake makers say they could not do it as they where booked on our day)... 2014 is going to be a very popular year for weddings our local church already has 13 weddings booked in for 2014 and its only a small village church.

My date is set for 4th Oct 2014, really good to hear some of you other brides are booked in for then too. How is the planning coming on? I have venue, dress, photographer and band...that is it for now but will look into everything else the end of this year.

Ive done all this in 3 months because the issue of a peak season wedding- I am soooooooooooo excited!!!!

So far I have booked, cermony and venue and food and flower girl dress...oh and hair tiara side comb thing, and got the shoes lol... And accommodation ...I think that's all... Next week payday I'm booking d.j and registrar .... Not bothering about dress :-/ need to shift a hell of lot of weight so I'm 'looking' but that is where it ends lol

I've also booked for October 2014. So far done the venue, registrar, DJ and rings. Desperately trying to slow myself down or I'll be all weddinged out!

Just feeling a bit wedding crazy at the moment...is that normal? I just can't stop thinking about it, I love it don't get me wrong but I'm constantly thinking about it and I'm getting headaches already lol.. Is this normal lol? Not sure if its got to do with the fact we have just booked the wedding and I'm just on excited over drive...or if I'm just wedding nuts in general lol...anyone else feel the same?

Is anyone else keep changing their mind as much as me??? I'm turned from a cream and navy wedding to now a fushia pink and navy wedding..bit of change..I'm in love it but not sure whether to leave it a bit longer before I start making purchases in case I change mind again !!!?

We booked for October 2013 last June, so I don't think you're too early, and we only just got the date, as someone had provisionally booked it, but then luckily cancelled. It will come around quickly!

Your lucky! I cant book registrar until the 20th May! Thats also only because i went down there in person after 8 calls and 2 emails and a NO! They relaxed the rules and will allow me to book 20th! so venue provisionally booked until then!

I've only booked the venue, registrar and cake (she's a friend). Meeting with two togs to discuss, one this week and one next week. Not looking at dresses until October so I can lose some weight. Have save the date magnets which I ordered the day we booked the venue but won't be sending those out until October time. X

Already booked the venue and registrar. Also pulled in some favours and have the Photographer, Car and Cake sorted. Bought the MOH dress last year! and have decided on Burgundy and Ivory.

How have you all managed to book our registrar??? Ive been having real problems with mine! They wont let me book until its a year to the day!! Meaning this Oct coming, they wouldnt even let me pencil it in!!

I made 8 calls, 2 emails and a visit in person and they have finally said i can book the reg on 20th May!! (Monday coming and i cannot wait) so venue is holding date for the month for me until i book reg then will confirm and pay the deposit

I had to pay a non refunable, non transferable deposit of £60 because I was booking more than a year in advance which I wasn't impressed by. I'm booking way in advance surely thats a good thing?! But I think it varies depending on the place you're registering with. I still can't give notice until after 24th October this year.

For the Sunday the fee is £600 at an approved place... when I spoke to them I even offered to pay the full 600 to book but they still wouldnt have it! They then rang the venue and said they had changed to rules to allow me to book 18 months in advance so hence why i have to wait until 20th (next monday) and i cannot wait! we will still have to wait until oct this year though to give notice
