Odd shaped engagement ring - with flash!!

MrsBarlowToBe, 15 August, 2013 at 20:22 Posted on Planning 0 5

Hey guys, I'm wanting to go wedding ring shopping soon and I'm worried I'm not going to find a wedding band I like to go with my engagement ring. I always thought I'd have a thick, blingy wedding band but I don't think one like that will go with my engagement ring. Don't get me wrong i adore my engagement ring, my Fiancé chose it all by himself which I was proud of Smiley smile I'm just looking for some advice as to where is good to get wedding bands from? Or if any of you lovely ladies could flash your engagement rings and wedding bands for a bit of inspiration Smiley smile

thanks, Chelsey

Your ring is very similar to mine & I am having the same worries about finding a wedding ring that will go!

Sorry, I haven't anything constructive to add...but I shall be following this thread for inspiration & ideas!

Why don't you look in to somewhere like Alba Rose or Smooch rigs where they can make one to fit your ER perfectly?

I think they even take a mould or something so it fits snugly.

I have a similar shaped ring and although I considered getting one made I found one that fit perfectly in H Samuel of all places - this one in fact

They work really well together - no flash sorry as can't get photos off phone, and I find the twist in the wedding ring helps the (marginally too large) engagement ring sit where it belongs.

    Certainly worth trying some on.

I also considered crossover/ kiss type rings

but couldn't find one spindly enough for my tastes.

My friend went with a smooch ring and they made it to fit perfectly. She said it wasn't that expensive and they did a great job.

Try somewhere like smooch or cooljoolz (who i highly recommend) for a shaped ring that will fit around your ER?
