The sixpence is a hitched tradition where we pass around a sixpence to hicthers for their wedding day and you put it in your shoe for good luck.

It can also count towards one of your Old, New, Borrowed, Blue's

MRSS2B that's a shame, you'd have to stick it in the post on your wedding night for it to get to the next person...however, Bluewater did say that she was happy to send her one around too, So I could put you on the 2nd list.

Tahdah - Can you please remove me from the list, as lovely as the thought of the hitched sixpence is, I have kindly been given one by Laura_Lee, and also a work colleague wants me to borrow hers! Would it be ok to have one in each shoe?

I was dispointed when I read that the sixpence was already being used on my wedding date but if I can share the luck of the 2nd hitched coin from blue water that'd be fab. Please can you add me to the list for 31st July 2010, thank you
