I phoned the registry office which my venue is under last week, and they told me they cant book our date in due to them only holding a 12 month rule. Then she said at the end of the call, "actually, we have a wedding fayre next weekend, and if you book on the day, you can book up to 18 months in advance for the registrar".
So me and the OH went along today to Langtons, and thought we would try anyway... and we have booked (smiling like a cheshire cat as I type this) our wedding date in!!!
Yippeeeeeee.... Im so excited (more than I was when i got my venue) as we have got the time we wanted too, and now I don't have to panic about not getting the times etx...
Sorry, just wanted to share in my happiness. Now it's all full steam ahead as they say! ?????
