Ok ladies, i need your help!

Little.Miss-Scatterbrain, 7 April, 2009 at 20:01 Posted on Planning 0 7

Have finally decided on a colour scheme it's going to be Navy with ivory and a sort of mocha colour. i now need to find everything to go as it is miles apart from the black red and platinum i was initally having.

thought i would start by trying to find reasonably priced (under £150) bridesmaid dress to go.

Any Advice regarding flowers would also be appriciated, i dont really like flowers so dont have a clue where to start!

    Hi LMS

I was b/maid for my friend a few years ago and my dress was a dark blue and she had bouqets made (real flowers) with lillys and roses and the roses were dyed blue. They were gorgeous!

I'll see if I can find a pic to post to show you. I have no idea how it is done but there was no dye came off them and they looked lovely xx

Thanks ladies a few of the debenham dresses might be due a closer look! i have seen a dress i Love by dessy but fear it may be waaaaaay over my budget!

ms t those flowers look pretty good but I imagine my mum would kill me if i got artificial flowers as although i dont like flowers she Loves them! (in fact she talks to the ones in the garden, apparently it helps them to grow! crazy woman!!)

Miss dee would love to see some photos if you have them handy!

have been on and googled some mood boards so the ideas are coming thick and fast at the moment!

If you are looking for blue flowers you will have a greater choice with silk flowers; plus the advantage they are available all year round, no matter whch flower you pick.

Otherwise you could use ivory flowers with bue ribbons. As for styles of flowers is completely down to you... take a look on google images it should throw up loads of designs.
