old marrieds- am i mad to

Go on holiday for 10 nights 2 months before my wedding? by the time il get back il have 6 and a half weeks to go? h2b wants to go away with some friends on a cheapy to spain, but will we have the time, or is this when im likely to be busy? what was you all doing with 2 months to go? was you busy or had nothing to do?

    I say go! If you have the time off work and money to do it - then DO IT!! [;D]

    But then for me - any excuse to go on holiday ?

    I would have done it and really don't think it would have affected my planning at all. Just do more stuff before going away so it's less daunting when you come back.

    I say go for it. We had pretty much everything done 6 weeks before the wedding so I'm sure you'd be fine.

    WEES - I had a huge planning lull about that time and felt really restless becuase I'd done everything! Think its a great idea - just be careful of strap marks!!

    From a planning perspective, go for it - everything will be done by that point. from a money perspective, i wouldn't - i was too busy saving for my honeymoon! i would have much preferred the money to have gone towards that. i can go on holidays anytime with my mates.....
