I think it depends more on the style than the colour? I'm sure you will look fab! x

I was 40 and wore a Ivory dress, I don't think it matters you need to wear the dress thatt you want to, if the photo is your dress is stunning !

I will be 53 when I get married for the 2nd time next year. I too am wearing an ivory dress - it is designed by Emily Fox and ordered from Berketex. I did worry a lttle bit but what the heck its your special day and you can where what ever you want. You have chosen a beautiful dress and it suits your figure. What are you wearing in your hair?

If that's you in your dress I think it's an excellent choice and stunning - special plus classy but without being dowdy xx

No, you shouldn't worry. This was my aunt, aged 53, on her wedding day:

Not at all! If you like it and feel lovely in it, wear it with pride! Older women can look more beautiful than younger women often!

Like the others have said, , if you like it, then wear it. I think it looks very classy with the little jacket.

I think it looks lovely. I'm in my forties & recently got married. I was worried about what I'd look like as I'm older & less slim than I used to be but like others have said you choose the dress that suits your figure & your tastes & older women can look classy. It's a special day & it's nice to look & feel special too.
