Hi!

I really don't know if I want a veil or not.

I didn't, since it was a casual beach wedding, so I just had my hair loose with flowers in it. Suited the occasion and style much more than a veil would. Pocs on my report in sig.

I wore a cathedral length veil for the church ceremony and the photos after (the family ones etc) then I took it off for reception and evening. I had a side tiara. Best of both worlds!

    Heres some flashes.

I had a cathedral length veil too, very similar to VPs! I took it off just before we sat down to eat.

I initially thought I def didnt want a veil. After trying one on, it felt like the icing on the cake & finished off the look. I also thought, 'when else I am I ever going to wear one?'

I agree it depends on the situation & place. If it was a casual, beach wedding, then prob not.

If you feel comfortable & want to, why not? There are many recommendations about Margaret on here (I got mine from her also) so no need to spend a fortune at a wedding shop for an expensive veil. If you dont like it, she offers a money back guarantee.

    Gorgeous VP and Mrs Bass!

I had an elbow length veil and kept it on all day and night.

As I'm not getting married in a church my first reaction was for no veil. But when I tried one on in a shop I really felt like a bride! So to keep it more informal I'm going for a short one that sits under my hair, sort of like this...

    I really want a veil.

    1) Because it's the only time I get to wear one and be a bit princessy

    2) Because I think it'll soften my dress a bit in the respect that I'll have bare shoulders otherwise as it is strapless.

I think I'll go for an elbow length one so I can keep it on all day.

Mine was a Pink Margaret veil. She was so helpful and the veil was fantastic!
