OM - please flash pics of MOG/MOB outfits?

I can't find a pic but my mum and stepmum are planning to wear the same dresses they wore to their own wedding. They're blue and purple so not wedding dresses but quite showy. My mum would never normally wear something like that either but thinks she should look special

My mum wore a knee length Frank Usher outfit with a little jacket and she teamed it with nudey/goldy accessories.

One of the first things my mum said to me when I told her that we are getting married was "can I wear trousers please?". The only time in her life she wore a dress was her own wedding day, she does not have any dresses or skirts. Of course I want her to feel comfortable, so she will wear a trouser suit, which I will be choosing btw as she has no fashion sense (she says that herself and I always go shopping for her, so she would not be offended by me saying that ).

Very amused that this sentence was her first reaction, my parents' first reactions were actually both really funny, my dad's was "I am not dancing!", well that was after a few days, his very first reaction was hanging up on me as he was so overwhelmed when I told him on the phone lol.

This shows my mum (red) and OHs mum (champagne and black) and both felt happy and comfortable, which was all we cared about.

my mums red dress was between knee and ankle length and OH mums was knee length, not sure these help at all, but good excuse to flash

Mum's is from Jacques Vert at Debenhams, not sure about MiL. Just wish Mum owned some glasses that weren't "reactions" ones!

I always think that the models in most of the MoB outfit adverts look far too young to have daughters old enough to be getting married!

100% this, my mum is struggling because I think she feels intimidated by the model pictures and can't envisage herself wearing the same thing and looking good.

My daughter got married in September and I wore a red close fitting Ted baker dress which is not my usual floaty style but I had so many compliments, and it fitted so well. It was a statement which is what we wanted to go for. I had large black hat, black patent shoes and bag and bolero.

If your mum needs help with fascinators then have a peep at my site. I have lots of new ones coming in in the next week or so too.

Heres my Mum hers was from Jaques Vertes, the photos black and white but her outfit was actually cream and black piping and hat had black feathers on the top! :

My mums outfit was all from Debenhams (Jacques Vert), don't know where OH's mums was from.

I think it was a Condici. Same as my mums.

It was indeed a Condici! My mam managed to find hers on Preloved so paid half the price of the boutiques.
