It's not the end of the world. You can renew at some Post offices or online. You'll need the reminder notice to quote the reference number. If I remember correctly you have up until the 10th to get it sorted

Easily done good job you remembered though. The police are hot on pulling you over where I live if you tax has expired, my mum got caught and had genuinely forgotten, luckily they were in a good mood that day!

FIL2B is a copper so I phoned him last night all in a tizz-was and he said that I should be fine - unless someone has reported my car to the Police/DVLA I have 14days grace - the computer wont be checked until 2 weeks after the expiration date apparently!

Ha my OH forgot to tax his car and his motorbike!! He had to plead with me to let him take my motorbike to work!!
