OMG - Less than 7 months!!!

Lol, I found the last 6 months dragged, well up till the 1 month mark, then it just seemed to whizz by.

What do you have left to do Zippy?

I know - 7 months today!

When we booked there were over 15 months to go! Where have the last 8 months gone?!

I still have all the invites to make and the rest of the favour boxes, order of service and table plan. My CBM still hasn't started the BM dresses! I need to get my groomsmen along for measuring! I need to order my favour fillings and table number holders, buy a flowergirl dress, decide what earrings I want.

Erm...actually when I start listing it, there isn't that much! Thanks Willownat, you've made me feel better about things!

We had nearly 2 and half yrs! I have no idea where the time has gone!!

Can't believe I've been married 5 months today though!!

I'm dreading when mine changes to 2 months & something ?

That means you only have about 12 weeks!

Oh god tell me about it, I was so relaxed about everything until we hit 2010 and now I feel as if I'm going to pay for it ?

I have loads left to do and have about 6.5 months to go...here is my to do list, just to make you all feel a bit better ?

• Sort hen do (CBM is doing main one but I'm having a second for those who can't make that)
• Find BM dresses & shoes (friend is making jewellery) which should lead to...
• Decide on colour scheme ?
• Choose flowers for all bouquets, button holes, table & reception decs
• Mens suits! (am happily passing this responsibility 100% to OH)
• Make our menu choices
• Find some bridal shoes I like!
• Help friend with ideas for my tiara so she can get cracking
• Choose favours and either order/buy them or make them (my preferred option is definitely the first!)
• Choose the design for placecards, table plan, guest book, post box and order them (luckily have nabbed Prettywild for this, just knowing that alone fills me with calm!)
• Find gifts for best man, ushers, BMs, parents, friends who have helped out etc
• Write out and send invites (mid March) and then all the stuff that comes with that - like the dreaded table plan ?
• Buy honeymoon clothes! We're going on safari so need the appropriate gear

I know there is more, but to be honest it's depressing me even thinking about it ? Someone give me a boot up the backside please?

I've got a month longer than you and this wedding lark as suddenly got very close! I always thought 2 years was a long time away! I really should start planning! Need to write a serious list this weekend!

Oh dear god stazzle! the only thing on your list that i have done is the shoes!! all the rest is still to do!

? It might have to be a long engagement...from the sounds of it we may need 10 years to plan the wedding!

Works for me! Even then I'd probably just chill out for the 9 years and cram it all into the last 6 months ?

Sounds like a plan, but I think we would need to have a Mormon ceremony and move to Utah to be socially accepted!
