What a week - it's been just mental - you might remember I posted last week that my H2B's and I both found tenants for his house and my flat meaning we had to move ASAP and find somewhere new to live... I trawled the net last Saturday night, found a 2 bedroomed cottage out in the sticks, we drove round the next day - MAGICALLY found the owner locking up - asked for a tour - shook hands, gave him a deposit and my honey and I both moved in yesterday!!!!

We've been together 10 years - this is our VERY FIRST home TOGETHER! I am SO excited! (We're going to keep chickens!) :-)

MENATL SNOWY WEEEKEND LAST WEEKEND! :-) the garden has a wee babbling brook down at the bottom ;-)

And finally :-)

Sorry for all the pics - but we're SUUUUUPER EXCITED!

5 weeks till we marry - thailand for 2 weeks and then back to our wee love nest in the country! WHOOP WHOOP! ;-)

How exciting! I know how you must feel (OH and I still don't live together after nearly 8 years!). BTW - you look fab in the picture - no sign of eye problems whatsoever. Are you fully recovered now?

Kewl! we were going to keep chickens in the house we initially wanted to buy as the chickens came with the sale - hitched heard alllllll about it...lol....

your new home looks lovely, is that your furniture or the landlords?? We are in our first home too, its a lovely feeling. Yesterday we had some guys come and cut down some tree branches overhanging our garden and hubby emails me to say 'we've made our mark now!' hehehehe.... we have helluva long way to go still but you look like yo've landed on your feet there x

Thanks again everyone! I can't stop looking at the pictures! ;-)

The house comes fully furnished - so the red sofas staying but I'll hang my own pictures up and make it very "us" over the next few weeks... :-)

Eye has pretty much all healed - its sore and stiff in the morning and late at night - (and if I continuously look at pictures of our new house!) ;-) but all good to go for May 14th!!!
