It really does depend on your hair, the texture of it, the shape of your face - features you want to exentuate or draw attention from .. Your hairdresser should have spent time working through different ideas with you. Does your hairdresser come from a salon? I'd speak to someone at the salon (or your HD if you're comfortable to) and just explain that you're still feeling anxious and unsure about your wedding hair. Really, the point of a trial is to get you to the point where you say "I love it, that's what I want on the day" .. I'd be asking for another trial free of charge if I were you.

My hair was pretty long (down past my boobs!)and is quite fine, took a lot of pins and hairspray!!

Swbvr - I know it will depend on hair type but I think my expectation of what the front will look like might not be quite right as I'm struggling to find front and back images that match up. I have spoken to her about it but I feel like maybe I'm not explaining myself very well as I'm not sure what I'm looking for? Or I'm expecting the front to look like something that can't happen.

Kharv, Mrs C - you both look stunning! Both of these are lovely - I know this is a bit of a stupid question but could you see any of the back of the hair from the front? When I had mine you could see some of it coming out from my neck and I was worried it looked a bit weird .

Mine was a bog standard bun ( false hair piece- I only had a chin length bob)

You could see more of mine as the day went on and it got looser!

Thank you for all the pics - they're making me think it might look a bit different once I've got my headpiece, because they're all set off by the headpieces too.
