On the Day Timings

Hayse-08/10/11, 2 October, 2011 at 14:50 Posted on Planning 0 6

I was wondering if you could share your on the day timings please. We are trying to finalise ours and struggling a bit with what is normal.

Just to give you an idea, this is what we're going for at the moment:

12.30- Trio of strings starts playing
1pm- ceremony

1.30- reception drinks, canapees and photographs. Strings playing until 3pm
3.00- move to marquee
3.30- speeches 30 minutes
4pm- wedding breakfast- no starter.
6pm- cut cake
6.30- evening guests start arriving. Band play first set (rat pack).
7.15 first dance

9.00- Hog roast served
12.00- end

I would be really interested in seeing other peoples timings.

Thanks
