One idea that you really love...

I would love pictures of me and OH in a gorgeous wedding car but we are having our venue in one place so it's not going to happen [:'(]

We're having our wedding all day in one place but I'm having a vintage car take me to the venue and they said they will take me and OH out for a drive in it after the ceremony and can get some photos then ?

DITTO to Kat 44, me and bridesmaids are travelling to venue in 1966 VW Camper and he will hang around for pics or a drive around later, ,

I went to a wedding where the couple did this after the ceremony. Not only did they get those lovely car shots but they also got 15 mins together alone!

I like the idea of the Candle Mass in our Roman Catholic ceremony (lighting one marriage candle using one smaller candle each, so you both light the one flame using each of your seperate flames.)

In November, OH and I traveled to Jerusalem in Israel on a trip to Egypt and when we were there in the Holy Land, we got our Marriage candles from there.

That is very special to both of us

I really wanted to include my car in some of my photos and with the original venue we chose we wouldn't have been able to do it.....but now we've changed venues and she can now be part of the day, I'm so pleased, I love my car ?

I don't think there's anything that I'd really really love to do or have on the day that I'm not having - on our actual wedding day (we're eloping) me and OH will get up, get a train to Niagara, check into our hotel, get ready, go get in a helicopter and get married. Then we'll go have some lunch as our wedding breakfast and spend the rest of the day mooching about in our wedding clothes, generally being very very content. Can't think what I'd chenge about any of that really ?

I'd love beach wedding photo's... But also want our church wedding, in the midlands... ?

The compromise is - we've booked a photo session on honeymoon - i'll wear a long cream dress (from the birmingham lady) and OH will wear a cheap suit and we'll get some awesome beach shots in the sea etc. Although I did also consider a Mrs C style post wedding shoot in the UK too.

Me and OH both love the idea of a swing band/singer during dinner into the evening but alas, the quotes we have are silly expensive so itl be a pipedream!

My favourite thing is my victorian style ice cream bike ?

I love my veil and my bouquet...I'm trying to decide how long you can really hold on to both - especially as it's a cathedral length veil. Similarly, I don't want to have to put my train up to dance, I want to keep it down all night but will probably fall on my face if I do.

Swing is mine and Kat's guilty pleasure, but we found the same. Cant justify the expense, boo hoo ☹️

i thought about surprising OH with a singer, but getting quotes in made me sick, sooooo expensive
