At my mums until the wedding now. Sorting a few things out today - getting a keg of beer from the local pub (the beer is called 'bottleneck bride'!) in a minute so better go.

It's so funny as I've had 3 texts from people telling me it's one week today like I didn't know ? Ths time next week I'll be a Mrs! I've pigged out today on fish and chips so hope the dress still fits!

We've done our final bits of shopping today and picked up our wedding rings!

My parents are being hell to live with, claiming how stressed they feel about the wedding! Excuse me!? What have they to feel stressed about? We're doing all the organising, they just have to turn up!

    Me too!! sooo exciting.

just need to pick up the dress and kilts, have a final meeting with the photographer and florist on wednesday and im ready to go!!

Mum just phoned saying her and dad have just picked up my dads kilt . He tried it on at the shop and its the first time hes worn one. Apparently it looks great and he's grinning from ear to ear totally chuffed! bless

I'll be counting down the hours now its the final week...

Hi dawhite - not 'seen' you on here before. Where are you getting married? It sounds like you've had a bust last weekend as a Miss.

I've had a busy day! Had to move 25 chairs; get keg of beer; make a pile of fire wood for our bomfire and a number of other things.

The good news is that the weather is sunshine on Met Check for next Saturday (however it does seem to change every few hours!)

    Hello!

A long way from bangkok! - in bonny scotland, near dundee. The venue is a fishing lodge! which doesnt sound great but its a gorgeous location with a lovely function suite - perfect size for my 90 guests.

What about yours? are you nervous at all? everyones been asking if i am but to be honest im just excited. no nerves yet.

Hi wonderstuff. See above post for where im getting married...

Your bonfire sounds interesting...whats happening there?!

Re the weather i think its meant to be "showers" up this way.. but you just never know i guess. Hate it cos its the something you cant control on the day.

But , as H2B keeps saying we will have a great day either way.

I'm getting married at my mum's house in Hebden Bridge, West Yorkshire. Its an old mill with a chimney and we're lighting a bonfire at the bottom of the chimney so we'll have smoking coming out the top.

Hasn't really hit me it's happening yet so not nervous, but been having trouble sleeping and been suffering from a few hallucinations at night, apparently called night terrors, which are stress related.

I wish we could control the weather - we wanted to get married today but venue wasn't free and the weather would have been perfect!

    Wonderstuff that mill sounds lovely.

no hallucinations for me thank god... just weird dreams that things are going to go wrong on the day.

hope this week goes quickly at work. off on the friday so should do.

hope both your days go well after all those months of planning...

Time to finally start celebrating ??

I always think that but I'm not going anywhere in the near future (unless I win the lottery tonight - then I'll still hitch but it'll have to wait until I return from a very well deserved holiday!!)

It makes me nervous just imagining being in the last week!!
