Opinions on BM pressis please

mrs zippy, 11 May, 2009 at 15:31 Posted on Planning 0 4

I am torn between buying pressi (like Jewellery or something keepable) that we can give them during the speeches and taking them all for massages or pedicures or manicures after we go for final dress fittings in a few weeks.

I think the treatments are really nice and we would have a really good day doing that but it isnt keepable and coz it would be a few weeks before the wedding maybe doesnt seem like a pressi

I am stuck!! WWYD??????

I prefer to give something they can keep. It would also be a logistical nightmare getting all three of my bridesmaids together to go for treatments as we all live quite far apart and they all have kids. I have bought them these bracelets:

If i were a BM i would like either of them.

The treatment thingy means you get to spend the day together and do something nice but the present is a lasting memory of your day.... mmm decisions!

Personally I'd go for something they can keep unless having a girlie day is something you'd all really enjoy and it could be a mini hen do.

    I'm giving my bm jewellery.

I've bought my BMs a gold necklace each...wanted something they can keep and wear again. I think both your ideas are lovely though so it depends on your BMs and what you think they'd like the best!

Why don't you ask them what they'd prefer?

I suppose the problem would come if 1 wanted one thing & the others wanted something else! But I guess you could take that risk!

Personally I'll be going for something keepsake-ish (because it's more practical for me & MOH) but I think a day of pampering would be just wonderful!x
