This is a link to the wedding dress that i am 99% certain that i am having.

http://www.littlewoodsdirect.com/rf/lxd/p.do/women/bridalwear/parachute-wedding-dress?groupId=543449752&Nu=this_product&SNtk=&Np=1&SN=151+4294955303&Ntt=543449752&D=543449752&Ntk=group_search&Dx=mode%2bmatchall&thisprod=543449752&N=151+4294955303&Nty=1&Mis_item_id=15&Mis_item_loc_id=1&product=543449752

Do you think it would suit a veil? I'm not sure if it would and i am not overly bothered, but there is a part of me that thinks it would be nice to have one.

If not, what shape of headress would you be going for? Tiara, flowers etc.

TIA X

I think u could get away with a short 1 , but not a full length 1 as it would cover up the detail on the back of the dress. 1 that comes just past your shoulders would be nice. x

Thats true - i wouldn't want to cover up the detail on the back as its one of the reasons why i love it lol

    Thanks x

The dress is lovely...I think a really simple tiara would look fab. I'm not one for veils but I agree that a shorter one will allow everyone to see the detail on the back. Great find though...will look amazing on.

That dress is beautiful! and what a bargin! think you could really have anything with it but a nice sparkly tiara would go really well. i agree with the others that the veil would need to be a shorter one but im sure there are some hibs around here that'll be able to give you better advice and some examples!

    Hi,

I agree a shorter veil would be nice. I'd go for a sparkly tiara with ab crystals as well as silver crystals to match the beading detail. Have a look at my website for some inspiration www.lynseysdesigns.co.uk. A tiara would depend on how you are wearing your hair but here are a few examples which would work well with your dress.

I've got pictures of these tiaras being worn if you want to see them on in real life.

or a band would work as well

I'd be happy to discuss ideas with you so feel free to email if you want to chat - ******@**************.**.**.

    Your dress is lovely btw.

The dress is amazing! ❤️ Really the kind of style I like at the moment too.

I think a short veil would suit it too, as someone else said.

Let us know what you decide!

Thanks girls - i love the dress too lol

I will be wearing my hair very much as the girl in the pic has - down with a loose wave but want the front back woth something - not sure if a tiara and a veil would look too much?

Would pearls go do you think? Im thinknig of wearing my nans pearls if they go with the dress x

    Hi,

I don't see why a veil and tiara would be too much. The dress is quite plain so not as if you are going to have too much going on. With that hairstyle I'd suggest either a handband style or a low tiara. A comb could work as well to put in a similar place to the model's hair flower but this wouldn't work so well with a veil.

If the pearls are the same colour as your dress then yes that will be nice. It would be nice to incorporate pearls into your hair accessory along with crystals if you decided to wear your nans pearls.

As the dress is very detailed and fussy ( i mean that in a nice way) then i think a veil would look too much. I would go for something similar to the girl in the photo, something quite plain.

Thanks for your replies - im swayin towards a low tiara with white/ivory pearls and clear crystals. And maybe some silvery pieces if not pearls. Actually every time i look at the dress i change my mind lol.

Im got over a year to go before i get married so have plenty of time to change my mind i guess - lol

That it is a lovely dress.

Personally I think you want a hair accessory that is quite soft and simple - nothing too heavily beaded but with lots of texture to reflect the layering and "floaty" feel of the dress. I have a few pieces that I have designed for similar dresses that I can show you. Drop me a line at ****@*********.**.** if you would like to have a nose.

    That's a beautiful dress!!

I think flowers would look fantastic, understated as the dress is detailed :o)

    Hello

I think the dress is lovely, I like the skirt detail. Personally I'd not go for a veil if you are having your hair like the model in the picture. However, that is my personal preference. https://www.photobox.co.uk/album/28950430 Here is a link to my photobox album, as I have items in there that aren't yet on my website, www.katievaledesigns.com

Personally I go for something quite low at the front, almost an alice band. Or something at the side of your hair. I think pearls would look fine in your hair, and jewellery.

Here is a picture of a pony-tail clip, which I could make in an alice band, and incorporate crystals if you'd like.

Or you could have something like this, shown on my site in green, but in photobox in clear crystal which I recently did for a bride.

Or you could have a pin/comb at the side of your hair: https://www.katievaledesigns.com//Pins/Flame.html

Thats beautiful. I've had a look at buying that one but have no idea if it would suit me!

I wouldnt have a veil, i'd have my hair done in a way that really reflected the dress, with a small tiara i think. Similar to the model in the picture.

Gorgeous dress and fab price too

I'd not have a veil but maybe a double hairband to match the top of the bodice if you see what I mean, with sparkles so they catch the light as you move.
