Orange as a theme, please help

Hello there lovely ladies, I have been chatting to my best friend who is getting married a couple of moths after me and she wants to go for a autumnal orange theme but is a bit unsure. I think it will look gorgeous (she lives in the middle of a forest on Dartmoor by a river and so all the trees around will be that colour) but she is a bit stuck for ideas. Knowing how brilliant you are on here I said I could ask and get some ideas for her. So any pictures, mood boards, ideas would be greatly appriciated ( I have tried to help her as much as possible but all my pics are pinks, vintage and tea parties so not really in keeping with her theme). Thanks in advance you wonderful wifes to be. xx

    Type orange wedding themes into google search and then click images, there's loads of idea in there.

    Hi Tinks,

    We went to a wedding last Sept where the colour scheme was chocolate brown and a kind of burnt orange. I dont seem to have got many pics of the colour scheme tho (useless photographer me!) but these were the BMs dresses which fit the theme.


    I thought orange was a bit of a strange choice, but when I saw it all together it looked really nice. Sorry its only one pic but hope it helps!

    Hi I've done a few orange schemes.















    Orange is a colour which goes with so many others. Although it's often mixed with browns and creams, it's complimentary colour is blue but it also goes really well with dark greens, hot pinks, lime greens as well as chocolate browns. Hope that helps!

    You could use a more coppery colour scheme as well as Orange to give an autumnal feel:

    I went to a wedding which was orange and purple and the flower centre pieces were placed inside pumpkins! They looked really good!

    just a couple of ideas - these are things I've created @ work recently... - the candle centre piece could be made a lot more orangey ... but is along an autumnal theme...

    The stuff Sherrie posted gives heaps of great ideas!
