you don't really have to have them if you don't want to. if you're having a church ceremony, then you can hand out hymn books and display the hymn numbers the same way as at a Sunday service.

Hey Stacey, I got 50 for just under £9 from Vistaprint...I figured at that price I may as well ?

I am having a civil ceremony and I plan to have an 'order of the day' made up for guests...Im a bit of a nerd when it comes to little touches and I think it would just be nice for guests to see how the day has been planned

What option do you pick at Vistaprint? I can't find/figure out what product it would be...

If you are having a civil ceremony, you don't need one, though they can be nice mementoes.

If you are having a church ceremony, I would say they're more important. It is possible to do without them if your church has hymn books and its own generic "marriage service" OoS, but you do need to have something as there are several bits which require congregational responses as well as the hymns.

I am using vistaprint too. Our ceremony is only small with 20 guests so we decided to have a brief order of service, with a funny overview of 'How we Met' and a picture of our first night out), 'How A Proposed' (and a picture taken after the proposal), 'People who wish they could be here Today' (with a picture of the our cat, lol). It will look nice all in black and white, and a cover photo of the Windmill.

We are also having little silly thank you notes and pictures to our guests in there.

It's very tongue in cheek, and eveyrone there will 'get' our sense of humour it and hopefully appreciate the personal feel to it.
