Order of service...

We made our own and we had a civil service.Sorry no flash, it was over a year ago now.

Mine had a brief timeline of the day, a copy of the readings we had, (which came in useful as my husband forgot to take the very nice copies I made to the readers). It had an introduction to the Best Man and MOH as they were the people who were to take cards/presents and tell you whats happening when (there was always someone who didn't read the well prepared timeline).

I also added a wedding themed word search for people who arrived early. And then finally a thank you to everyone for coming.

It was certainly personal to us and I am sooo glad we made them ourselves!

We are having a sports (with a touch of music) theme, and I want to show off why the little details are where they are, so the plan now is not to have a order of service but an "Official Programme" like the ones you get before matches.

It will have all the info about how our parents met, how we met, why we chosen the decor we did, etc...

I only have a draft now, the final version will go to print later next year, so no flash for now sorry!

What are you all having at the church/ceremony venue?

I love that idea (but then I love puzzles too!)

I'm not doing an order of Service as such, but thought I might do an order of the day. I've seen some nice ones made into fans that I really like, but figure that if I do that we'll probably end up a with cold wet day!

We're having one but it won't be the traditional type of order of service.

We'll have a brief timeline of the day, how the service will run & we want fun or interesting facts about the people in the wedding party or why we've chosen a certain theme for the table plan etc.
