Order of service

Daisyday, 9 June, 2014 at 22:08 Posted on Planning 0 2

Coming up to four weeks now. Crikey!!

Just about to start my order of service for the church wedding and don't know whether to do it on A4 paper or get some nice card or buy a design. Finances seriously getting stretched now and keen for simple and cheap, just worry paper is a bit flimsy?

All suggestions welcome!

Thanks Smiley smile

    Hmmm,

I'd probably buy some cheap thin card, and design something nicely on the computer and print it myself, bearing in mind what you're saying about 'simple and cheap'.

Do two prints per sheet, and cut in half to make them A5. Is it just me or does A4 sound really large? (unless you're actually printing hymn lyrics on it or something like that that takes up oodles of space?)

Print one between two people and a few spare if you've got some single people coming. Tell the ushers to hand them out as one between a couple though, else that'll go hugely wrong....

Thanks, that sounds simple enough. So aware of time now too and work is full on!

i meant A4 paper folded to an A5 booklet.....yep A4 would be like a theatre programme!

I think you'll be able to fit it all onto 1 A4 sheet. Fold to A5 and you have a front cover then 3 sides for the info. The OOS only needs to contain church information, eg the words to hymns. It's not a planner for the day.
