Organza Pew Ends

Noodle2Be, 19 February, 2011 at 19:01 Posted on Planning 0 7

Anyone know where I can these, or do any HIBs do them? I did want to use flowers, but the church has said that I cant move them after the service, so thought the organza might be cheaper?

My florist did our pew ends as part of the package. They were red and cream bows in the ribbon of my choice. She did put some babies breath with them but they didn't need it. She had a very steady hand and made them all even which I could never have done!

I'm sure you can buy rolls of organza on t'internet quite cheaply, someone else may be along to help shortly?

Why would the church say you can't move flowers afterwards?? Have they got another service straight afterwards (thereby no time to move the pew ends). For my brother's wedding we moved all the flowers to the reception venue - just got a few strong men to move them into cars (they were in terracotta pots). I don't think they even told the church they were going to do it and tbh if all it takes is a few minutes so they didn't even notice.

The vicar wants the church to look pretty for the Sunday service!! Personally I think its a bit cheeky of her to request this, but its her decision, so would prefer to just have the organza.

Ah right I see, well I suppose it could be seen as a "donation" to the church (lol)!

Ours are £2 each hired from the florist.

If you wanted to buy, just seen some baby pink on ebay @ £9 for 30 meters - I imagine you'd need between 1 to 2 meters per bow?

I've ordered these before for a Bride & they are excellent value for money. An american site but the postage is reasonable & they are quick:
