My little boy used to love having a bath, I recenlty started working full time so he in full time nursery, just before that he started getting cranky about having a bath or shower etc....

Now he just screams and I mean screams [:'(] when you put him in the bath, I have tried having a bath with him so as my OH, but he not interested at all, when we put him in he just tries to get out (which is dangerous) we obviously in the bathroom with him but so scared gonna hurt himself, anyone got any ideas as i am close to [:'(]

Hi my 2 yr old loves the bath but doesn't really like the shower. Sometimes if my 5 yr old is having a shower I try to convince Lucy to go in there by asking her to do mummy a favour and could she wash up some plastic bowls for me, she loves the idea of helping me and taking something that isn't a bath toy into the shower.

You could try something like that. Or I can remember when my eldest didn't like the bath we used to list all the clothes she was taking off and delibertly forget to take her socks off and then put her in the bath with them on, she would be laughing so much by then that she forgot to hate the bath.

I think you just find something that works for you. I would continue to give a bath even if he only gets his feet wet and then has to get out because it is such a good part of their bedtime routine.

    Good luck x

My son started to get upset at bath time so I let him use one of my bath bombs, which he loved calling them his fizzies and he now is desperate to get into the bath. I e mailed this lady who made me a big load of little small ones and it didn't cost a lot. http://www.fizznsuds.com/

    Might be worth a go?

    Good luck
