O/T been for a run

BoroKate, 29 October, 2009 at 21:44 Posted on Planning 0 5

Well a fast walk with a few sprints every once in a while! Im trying to get back on track with my diet but when I got home OH had made homemade chips which I couldn't resist.

Aarrgghh I'll never fit into a wedding dress!

Bit of a pointless post but its quiet tonight so just rambling.

I really wish i couldget my a*** into gear and start running again but, i really dont do just running around the streets, especially on my own, so for a long time was working out at the gym 4x a week and really got into race for life and the 10k runs, and wedding planning has taken over, all spare cash is going into that so i have cancelled my gym membership as iam really happy with my weight but didnt realise how much my fitness levels and muscle tone would deteriorate ☹️

Im also working day and night shifts so its hard to find the motivation and time.

    I know excuses excuses!!!!!!!

I think if you are happy with your weight then you're allowed to sacrifice fitness for wedding planning lol.

Well done on running 10K! I hate running but I neeeeeeed to lose weight and my friend came with me so we try to motivate each other.

Im aching all over this morning and my legs are like jelly so I suppose that means its working!

Well done Kate going for a run!!!!! I hate running too but its a great way to lose weight and is also a really cheap way of keeping fit.

Stick with it - its amazing how quickly you gain your fitness and lose weight when you do it regularly.

Thanks for the encouragement Gillsy. We usually go swimming twice a week but are gonna start to replace a swim with a run so at least we're getting some variety even though it is torture lol

I've just started a 5k training plan (I know it's small but I really don't do running!) as I seem to be eating everything in sight now that I don't have a wedding dress to get in to... mine is the running/walking approach too as I am very unfit! My motivation now is to not look like a beached whale when we go on our honeymoon next April!

Good luck to you, we can compare notes!

Hi, well done on the running, i love to run, i do however have bursts where i go every night and can do around 8 miles in one stretch, then i just stop and do nothing for months. Been trying to get back on track because of dress obviously but motvation is in the bin. Got 1st dress fitting today and not as slim and toned as i wanted to be, grrrr

Send some of you motivation vibes my way please kate and keep up the good work x
