Hiya - how's your job hunt going chick?

In answer to your question, I'm a bit stuck. I dunno that we'll do anything big - I was going to get him tickets for the Van Gogh exhibition, but seems like everyone else has had that thought!

We were talking about going to the neyo concert, dunno whether we will. Sorry, this hasn't been much help has it!

Fair enough if thats what you fancy doing lol! i suspect we'll get lots of snacks in and spend the night in his room lol

the jobs- well i applied to vodafone today so fingers crossed there. it doesnt look like a bad scheme but its only a year and theres no guarantee that even if i did get it, they would keep me after the year is up. but its a start!

Hmm - we only recruit for 12 months initially as standard - no one's ever been "let go" after 12 months tho'.

One year I did an "indoor picnic" for an ex as a surprise - loads of nice cheeses and salads and choccies and stuff.

Do you work for vodafone? or is that a different company? i've noticed loads of places are only offering a years employment and then review at the moment.

we did an indoor picnic for our second valentines day. well it was technically our second but the first we spent together. i had a serious case of gastroenteritis and was seriously ill so he ended up looking after me! lol

Sorry, no, not Vodafone. From my exp though it'll either be an overlong trial, or it's because they can't guarantee budget for it past the first year. It's something you could ask the person about who's in charge of applications though.

We are going for a joint meal with my CBM and her other half, not doing pressies this year as we're off to Coombe Abbey for the night tomorrow as we got a bargain deal!

i love how you expect more lol

Well we've decided what we're doing for our anniversary which by default probably means valentines will involve takeaway pizza and marital unpleasantness and maybe a trip to the cinema if i'm lucky!

We don't usually go out on v day, its our anniversary as well a couple of days before so usually end up having a nice meal indoors and just chilling. its on a sunday this year though so might do breakfast instead....

Nothing for us either. February and March holds H2Bs 30th b'day (so a big one), daughter's b'day, nad my mum's bday so it's a pricey time for us so we don't bother spending for valentine's day too. Sounds like a cliche but we don't need one day of the year each year to tell each other we love each other.

Snap. It's just another day. I'm spending the day with my CBM sorting out some stuff to do with our business!
