Awww...its so nice isn't it!! Its just started snowing here again.....so where it had melted is all covered again! x

I really wish I had my camera with me at work today, some amazing scenes. Don;t think I'll ever see that much snow in the city in my lifetime!

Wish i took a pic of me in the snow today... I've been to a spa all day, and was outside in a bikini in a hot tub with the snow on my head! Lovely!

Being up here (Highlands) I never gave a thought to some people not having snow like this at all.!! I sat watching the news showing how much chaos it brought to London, where up here we think nothing of driving in it to get to shops etc.

I used to live in Wales so I too find it very odd how a few inches of snow brought the whole of London to a standstill.

Apparently it is up to local councils to sort gritting etc and by the time it had gotten really heavy it was too late. And I do think 6 ins is quite a lot. Not that many people know but the Tube also goes overground so any snow on it that then melts underground can cause flooding. And I don't fancy being stuck on a tube underground.

Its all black ice everywhere now - and snowing - and sunny too...weird

I'm off work, as South West Trains have shut my trainline. I'm gutted as I really wanted to spend hours fighting to work and then sitting in a darkened room for hours followed by another three hour trip home. But looks as though I'll have to stay warm and hitch instead!!!

Wow fab pics! COuldn't believe the weather yesterday - and today its been snowing too on and off - even though its sunny. Crazy stuff. Am home sick after walking 5km in the snow yesterday.

Yeah, to be honest it's not the bad luck that I was annoyed about - I just want him to have a surprise on the day. At least it was one of me in the shrug, so he couldn't see the top of it.

He's a boy anyway, so will have forgotten what it looks like soon enough.

Exactly. Stupidboy barely remembers his own clothes let alone mine. All he'll remember is the colour - which is hardly a surprise anyway LOL

Bristol hardly ever sees snow, and although its not like we have had masses its been fun! Took my youngest out in it at the park this morning, just a shame my eldest is at school and is missing it....most of its melted now the sun is out shining. might get more later though, but i doubt it.

Me too. The buses are running again today, so I might get the 249 round to Balham and go to Waitrose. I don't fancy driving; not because of the conditions, but because there's still 6 inches of snow on my car and I can't be arsed to clear it off!

Well, it's very slippery out! The thaw has started I think - it's all slushy and slidey. Wore my walking boots, but still nearly went arse over tit!

You know what's fun about this weather though? Apart from the fact that I can't get to work?

I love that people are saying hello in the street and actually talking to eachother!
