I was in the area on Thursday and went in.......too big imo and layout is not as good as they claim it to.....

Don't get me wrong, it is impressive although not in the way it could have been.

Interestingly they wouldn't allow a Primark or MacDonalds onsite as that would cheapen the target market.

Sounds like my idea of a total nightmare! I can't stand shopping! Especially on a Saturday.

    Hope you have fun though!

I went on Saturday - it was crazy but I had to see it! It is amazing! My parents live about 10mins away!

We did the photography for the House of Fraser store opening on the Thursday with Jasmin Le Bon. It was crazy busy but really fun. The weekend was even busier! I would go mid week - it should have calmed down a little by then.

Planning on maybe going over in a couple of weeks with my mum and sis (though on a monday so it - hopefully - won't be as busy).

it appears living 2 minutes from bluewater shopping centre isn't enough for me.... ?

I want to know what it's like because we're off to do our christmas shopping soon and we used to go to Bluewater when we lived nearer there and my husband said we could go there this year but as we live not far from Westfields now we might just go there.

BUT I can't get there for a few weeks because of work so if anyone goes soon you must write a big long report!

One thing to watch out for if you are driving to Westfield is that(depending on where you are coming from) it is all too easy to accidently enter the London congestion charge zone, as Westfield is located right on the edge of it.

If you stick to the A40 approach from east or west and then drop on to the spur road leading to the centre, you will be fine.

Naturally weekends and evenings the charges do not apply.
