Catchy huh??? I think I might have sold my flat! Survey is being done on thursday and then they have to make up their mind dead quick or i'll sell it to someone else. Ok, its not the amount I ideally wanted but then all this finance hoohaa stuffed it up. But its something and that something will buy us a nice lil love shack and pay for the wedding.

Ker-ching!

(unless it all backfires of course and then its back to square 1)

    unfortunately mother is trying to wipe the smile off my face by being a control freak in this situation too. At what point does 'sharing news' become 'need help coz I cant do this'? At what point does involving someone whos had a bit to do with the property become an opportunity to belittle your decisions and gloat at any impending doom that may follow???

    my brother knows this stuff well and hes not ansering his fone! grrrrr.

    Nona, don't let your mum spoil this for you! am i right in saying you know what she is like? remembering the thread about your florist, she sounds like the type of person to rain on anybody's parade, no matter how big or small the good news (i mean no offence at all, just saying things as i see/read them - forgive me if i am wrong).

    i'm sure the survey will be fine, your buyers will buy your flat, and everything will go through hunky dory. (and we'll b here with a ? if for any reason at all it doesn't.)

    now go get me that glass of champagne you promised me hours ago!!!
