Just as the post says - found out unofficially on the grape vine were all facing consultation - I work for a government department so was expected really!!

No need to reply - just abit meh!! guess I should try find the silver lining as a chance to do what I really want to!!

Chick, don't stress about it too much yet, you've got more important things to think about at the mo!

And don't believe everything that you hear on the grapevine either, wait and hear the offifcial version first. The timing is a bit crap, but look on the bright side, if the worst comes to the worst, you've been plotting a way out of there for a while and have loads of fab ideas for a new venture. Perhaps by losing the safety net it'll give you the push to try some of them out with nothing to lose? Besides, either way, it doesn't necessarily mean you'll be out on your ear, there'll be plenty of people wanting to take early retirement etc.

I know it's hard, but try not to worry. Focus on the weekend and on the fab day (and rest of your lives) that you and S are going to have together ?.
