O/T Films that make you cry!

BoroKate, 1 May, 2010 at 20:59 Posted on Planning 0 41

OH put '50 1st Dates' on earlier and I wasn't particularly watching it as I've seen it loads of times before but it was the best thing on the TV at the time.

Next thing I'm bawling my eyes out ? ?

I don't know why but this film always gets to me. So what film is guaranteed to turn on the waterworks for you?

I was just watching that and fully expecting to cry, when the rain came and stopped my SKY TV from working! Boo.

..I digress... Edward Scissorhands - I have only seen it twice and refuse to watch it any more as I just cant cope with how sad it makes me. And I went to see District 9 at the cinema when it came out, and cried all the way through the car journey home! I felt so sorry for the prawns!

    And Leon, at the end.

God theres loads now I start to think about it.....!

Legends of the Fall. Gets me every time, v. emotional movie.

Natty, me and my SIL2B watched Benjamn Button with our respective OH's - both the girls loved it (well it was Brad Pitt) and the men also said it was rubbish!

..see I never watched that because I knew it would make me weep. Or Bambi. Or Watership down!

Bad things happening to animals is even worse than bad things happening to people in movies!!

I cry at everything actually...I even cry at films I never used to cry to when I was younger. Ever since I turned 24, I just bawl my eyes out at every sad thing I see. H2b thinks it's hilarious

According to Jumbly Boy, I am an emotionless robot. But two Christmases ago he was horrified to hear from my brother that I had just been crying at Dumbo ?

It's the bit where he's separated from his Mum and all you can see is her trunk on the ledge feeling around for him that got me....

I was always the hard hearted one out of my girls, when we used to have sleepovers and watch films they'd all be crying and i'd just be sat there.

Then about 2-3 years ago something changed and now i cry at everything. and i mean everything!!! lol!!

The worst thing recently has got to be Marley and Me. I was a proper mess after watching that, you know the real ugly crying, ha ha. It was kinda understandable tho as i lost my cat in Novemeber, my boy Harry, who i'd had since the day he was born. ☹️
