I have a pic from last year (hence presents under the tree), going to be similar this year. This year I have a big fat wreath to put over the fireplace (rather than that map?! we'd just moved in and needed something LOL). Christmas is one of my favourite times of year.

XXElizabethXx Your tree is lovely, and how on earth have you managed so much Christmas shopping!? I better get my skates on. I love putting the tree and decorations up, I always get H2B to do the lights and other boring stuff. We leave the baubles till last and have a glass of sparkly wine and put them on together. (I move them when he's not looking).

Christmas makes me so happy and this year my H2B isn't working!! Weeeee!

Have just finished mine, hence the messy house. We usually have gold and red but while OH was at work I popped out to get some pinky/purpley stuff so he had no choice ?

I do that too GB! I also try and get baubles from places we're been (I've got a windmill bauble for one!) and baubles of where we live and went to uni and of our names and things.

I bore H2B every year as we go through the stories for each one!

Brilliant trees there folks. Here's my baby.....the first one in a few years so had the fun of choosing everything new
.....with a chuntering (bah humbug) OH in tow. As we're both DJs.... I make him sing a different Christmas ditty everytime I switch it on or off. As we've had it up since the 1st Dec, he's starting to struggle now!!!!

Really pretty trees everyone. I like all the different themes - maybe I need more than one tree?!

Glad I'm not the only one who puts the crackers on the tree. H2B thinks I'm crazy.

hubby went to the local garden centre today to get one and came back empty handed.

'30 to 50 quid they are charging!!!! is that how much a tree costs??!!!! I aint paying that!' Looks like we could be waiting till B&Q are selling the left overs for a quid...

    bah humbug!

You after a real or fake one?

Ours is real; it is a 4 foot, Nordmann Fir and cost £24.00 from our nearest farm shop - we got free cups of takeaway coffee too!

But the price varies up and down the country.....I remember about six years ago, seeing a 5 footer being sold in a Florists in Shad Thames, near the Design Museum, for £70! Suffice to say I almost fainted.

Back in Suffolk my Step-dad and I would go and choose then cut/dig our own tree - one of the many perks of living next door to a Christmas tree farmer. We'd spend a whole day there, walking round all the trees! The same said farmer also gives us a 35lbs free-bronze Norfolk Bronze Turkey every year! I bloody love country life!
