O/T - For all you crazy cat ladies from a crazy cat lady (with pics)

heres a selection of pics of my boys... the ginger and white fluff (Rusty), and the grey fluff (Gizmo). The tabby is Dexter, a semi-feral we tried to tame, but had to rehome to a lifetime sanctuary up in the highlands as he simply wasn't cut out for a domestic lifestyle, and the black moggie is Pickle, who used to be mine, but who now belongs to my ex-ILs...

Poor wee things, they've been through a lot this year ... me and my ex splitting up in Jan, me disappearing and then coming and going thereafter whilst my ex was away travelling and me then leaving when he came home. I wasn't able to take the boys full time at that stage. Then I moved them to a temp home for 3mths (a 1st floor flat so they had no access to the outside after a life of having a cat flap ( ... then they went to my Mums for 2mths when I moved up to my now perm abode, and they joined me just a couple of weeks ago and are now very settled. Poor wee things. What a year for them...

And THIS beauty is the wee man my Mum is thinking of giving a home to ...

Aww Mrs SP, they are too cute! I love that your cats also love their windowsills! Clyde and Clover have taken to taunting next doors 3 dogs on the windowsill in our house now - bet they wouldn't be so brave if they were outside with the dogs! Haha!

Our cats have had a fair bit of upheaval in recent years too, Clyde lost his sister Bonnie to nasal cancer (she was only 1) last xmas and he was heartbroken (as were we, I cried for days), so we got Clover to keep him company, only to start with they hated each other! Then our landlords made our lives a misery so we had to move in early January to our current house, and we'd only just settled Clover too! Thankfully they love the much warmer, cosier new house and they are best of friends these days!

Your Mum totally HAS to get that little treasure, how adorable!

YAY FUR KITTEHS!

Here are my gorgeouses. The ginger tom is called Blaze, and the tortoiseshell is called Bayley. They're going to be 1 next month and they're just so funny. Blaze is such a mummy's boy and always curls up in bed for morning cuddles. Bayley is a real princess and has to have things Just So, although she does bully Blaze a lot!

My babies are brother and sister.

Sammyjay - your little bundles of fluff are so gorgeous! I found the girls always put the boys in their place too (much like with us humans lol!)

Oooh thanks so much for this thread! both OH and I are cat lovers (although he's also had dogs in the past) and he pestered me for months to get a cat when he first moved in with me as mine had unfortunately died the year before and I couldn't bring myself to get another straight away...Anyway, here's our cute moggie Georgie - a very "vocal" tom: - you can tell which pics are taken by my OH who's a wildlife photographer LOL

Hahahahahaha Coco you're sending me to bed with a big smile on my face - cathaholic!!! And thanks for the compliment for my H2B, he'd be chuffed - he doesn't have much faith in himself lol despite what even professionals tell him! Everyone's cats are gorgeous, every pic I see I go "ooh it's my fave this one", then i see another and it's "ooh" all over again! But the face of the Persian door-knocking moggy is priceless!!!

On my other computer now where i have pics of my baby George! Who is the most spoilt member of our family. Really would like to get another one but i don't know if it would go down too well with George.

He's such a cute cat, I love how persians are so grumpy looking! He often comes into our garden to see our cats or just sits outside my chicken run 'guarding' the chickens lol.
