OT Halloween

fancyfree, 27 October, 2009 at 21:03 Posted on Planning 0 8

Hello all! Sorry to start another Halloween thread, but I couldn't find the one I was posting on the other day.

Started doing some making for my Halloween party. Every time I walk into the dining room now my heart skips a beat!! (H2B works away so I'm alone in the house with that body!) I love fancy dress parties!!

Anyone else doing something in particular for Halloween?

Hahaha thought that was your OH before I read your text! I'd love to be going to a Halloween party but nothing this year - might be dressing up for a mate's birthday though. Loving your prep so far FF!

They are going in 80s clobber (Flashdance style) so I said I'd go as an 80 year old lady - only they thought it was a rubbish idea. I just like to be different (sulk!) x

Years ago (school disco) was a beach party..... everyone going in grass skirts and haiwii stuff???

Not me and my pal though noooooooooo,.....she went as a shark, was awesome, and I went as a pirate. Boy we got some odd looks!

Teehee that's a brilliant idea! I love randomness! She then asked me to come up with different theme ideas so I suggested:

Superheroes/ villians - I was going to dress as Supergran (I don't have an old lady fetish...honest!) but she poo-poo'd that idea!

Dress up as things beginning with H and L - the birthday is for people whose names begin with those letters.

    Song titles

But nooooooooooooo they want to go as sexy 80s people or sexy police officers (are you seeing the theme here?!!) Gaaah x

Hehe, it's like in Mean Girls where the really popular girls just wear lingerie with some kind of animal ears...

    I LOVE Mean Girls!

Yeah I was speaking to my OH about it and he said he'd be more likely to approach someone who was dressed in sommat random than someone who had fancy undercrackers on with ears. ha!
