OT - have you ever met anyone famous?

I used to be a dancer when I was younger and worked at a ballroom dancing on stage. I've danced on stage with a few stars of the past including Ike and Tina Turner, Jnr Walker and the All Stars, The Drifters, Eddie Floyd, Christie (one hit wonder of the 60's with Yellow River) and others of that era. My hubby has danced the Can Can with Simon Bates the Radio One DJ of the 80's and famous for 'our tune'. So other than Tina Turner, they are all 'has beens' or dead!

I'm totally jel that you danced with The Drifters! I wish I was 30 years older, just so I could have grown up with them!

I attended a wedding a few years ago and Paolo Nutini was a guest. He was the grooms brothers friend from School...I had a couple of minutes chat with him, but nothing remotely interesting lol!

Colin and Justin (they guys that were on the interior design show a couple years ago) not sure if anyone will remember them, booked a holiday in the travel agents I worked at. (B possibly C listers, but celebs nevertheless)

I've met a few. My favourite was Chuck Lidell (UFC champion). But also met JLS and was actually in the newspaper holding 1 of their hands trying to assist them away from screaming fans when they visited where I worked.

And my claim to fame is that the guy that played Cedric Diggory in Harry Potter films asked me if I'd join him in a toilet cubicle at a party................holy buggar! I've just googled to see who that was and it's Robert Pattison!!!!! I love him in Twilight! Why did I not join him?!?!?!?!?!?! Moment missed!

HAHAHA!!! I saw the film at the weekend and was declaring my pride at being Team Edward. I'm so shocked that it's him! As said this was years ago very much pre-Twilight! Pffff!

i used to go n watch the wrestling so i probably met most of wwe and tna rosta!!!!!! like matt n jeff hardy, john cena, the undertaker and loads, I also met nicole ritchie when i was in LA

I used to work in a children's designer wear shop in manchester so we had a long list of regulars, including beckham and the boys before he moved to real madrid, we had paul scholes and his family amongst many other member of the man u team. used to have a lot of the cast of coronation street as well. I served victoria beckham when i worked in another shop as well this was before she was married and i was in shock at her engagement ring it was gorgeous. Paul scholes wife was also so sweet and friendly and would always talk to the staff.

all the celebs i have met have always been so nice not demanding and just happy to chat,

I met John Major when he was running for PM as he was the MP for my town and I met Michael Gove recently too.

I've also met Mickey, Stephen, Keith and Shane from Boyzone. I've stood very near Ronan but didn't meet him unfortunately. With Keith and Shane, they were filming a music video as a duo and had put on their website that they needed extras so me and a couple of friends headed down to London for the day and ended up in the video. I was such a cool teenager! Met Tess Daly that day too and Ben from Phats and Small!

I met Jimmy Saville loads of times hahah , he used to jog round Roundhay Park when I lived in Leeds in his gold Trackie ?

Alice Cooper at Madison Sqaure gardens about 15yrs ago. ?

I used to waitress for my aunt's sister to earn extra cash during the holidays and met Prince William and Harry- their security team was huge, they were quite nice and polite.

Also used to work at Bicester Village while at college and served 'Dirty Den' from Eastenders- does he class as a famous person!

I meet so many because of one of my jobs, couldn't list them all here or even remember half of them, I meet so many people as well that I would consider non-celebs, huge numbers of reality TV stars.

Personal favourites would include the Queen, Paul McCartney, Rolf Harris, Robbie Williams, Jude Law, Emma Bunton.... Even walked into a room once without knocking, I didn't think anyone was in there are caught one of my teenage dream men naked and talccing himself whilst getting changed ;-)

I don't think I ever got got over excited about meeting them. They are just people you are working with and most of them are just normal lovely people.

Its the Z-listers reality TV stars that are the biggest prima donas, and they really are nobodies. Never understand how they even get column inches.

Went to the same sixth form as Fearne Cotton, rarely saw her there though.

Used to see Faye and Lee from Steps as they were members of the gym I used to work in, Bob Holness also used to stop by and say hello on a Saturday morning too!

Mr C used to coach Dennis Bergkamp's son football and we went to Holland with them on a football tour. Nicest family ever.

Mine are a bit random and also nowhere near as good as some of yours however I've met;

Katherine Jenkins, Christine Bleakley, Edwina Curry, Rolf Harris, Ant & Dec and the other week I met Bob from Emmerdale at a charity event!

I used to work in a hotel near Blenheim Palace so quite a few celebs used to stay there after events.

My faves were Prince Harry (so much better looking in RL!!) and I poured Johnny Depp a JD and coke ?

There were a few others: Lulu, Vinnie Jones, Jonny Vegas & Tamara Beckwith!

I don't know how I could forget this, but I met Steve Brookstein (the original X Factor winner). My friend and I went to one of his shows (after he'd been dropped, haha) and went backstage and everyfin'..

Ooooo come to think of it, ive met Brian Blessed too!! and Darren Bent, Kieran Dyer and Titus Bramble, who offered to buy me a drink in a club once, and when is aid no, he used THE line 'do you know who i am!??!' ?

Alice what golfers have you actual met?? I'm really jeleous!! I've seem loads but not actually met them - if you tell me you've me Poults I might actually sulk I LOVE him!!! He makes me laugh and is SO passionate! And not a bad little golfer (Tho luuuke is better)!!
