Ooooh my OH had this happen to him with his hotmail account, he had to change email addy

Have you tried contacting your provider & i'm sure someone said once that changing the password helps but i'm not too sure on this.

    Good luck

My hotmail account got hacked so I changed the password to a stronger one. Might be worth contacting the support.

What do you use as your mail program? You might be able to use a filter to cut out the return messages and leave you junk free!

Just a note this doesn't always have to be because you got hacked. It's quite easy to fake an email reply address and a lot of spammers do it. You might have just got unlucky and they used yours.

You need to run a virus check and neutralise anything it finds. If it is a physical hacker then I am not sure, they are usually spybot thingies that are not human, so just changing your paswords won't solve it as the program will be able to decode it again. I sound like I know, but it happened to 2 work colleagues hotmails this week and OH told me the above advice. Good luck!

It usually ends after about 24 hours when they move on to someone else, just a pain deleting it all

Try changing your password using the virtual Microsoft keyboard in case you have downloaded a keylogger which is recording your physical keyboard strokes and learning your password that way.

    On the Start menu:

    Point to All Programs.

    Point to Accessories.

    Point to Accessibility.

    Select On-Screen Keyboard.

Note A message box with a link to more information about the On-Screen Keyboard may appear. To close the box, select OK.
