Ours is all about our honeymoon 6 months later and then making some improvements on our house. Baby in a few years time, we want to enjoy being a young married couple first x

After the wedding were hoping to pay off any remaning debts we have on credit cards and overdrafts etc, hopefully have a nice honeymoon somewhere (had to cancel our original one as we just didnt have the money for it in the end) enjoy the start of the footie season and somewhere down the line start thinking about babies! x

Babies! Well, honeymoon first and foremost, but we will feel sooo blessed to have the start of a little baba anytime from wedding night onwards!! We are both really ready, and just today were saying, this time next year we could have a newborn!! Know it doesn't normally work like that but you never know, we're going to see what happens and if it's straight away, wonderful, and if it takes a year then that's fine too - we will just go on a nice holiday!

Other than that just enjoying our married life together, our family, friends and home - can't wait!

Well we are going to put any spare money towards paying off any debt we have, whgich is quite a bit, on various cards loans and what nots, and in about a year we are going to try for a bay. we have said a year down the line becuase some loans and car finance we have finishes not next may so the may after, so if we start in a year and it did happen straight away then them bills would have gone by then.

we also want to do a few bits around the house, replace the flooring, paint the living room and do the garden, garden is a huge job, we need it levelled off and wall built and all sorts so not as simple as it sounds with that 1.

obviously if a baby comes any time after we are married it would be welcome but ideally wont be until may 2012.

sounds like we all have fairly similar plans really.

Your plans all sound great and going green with honeymoons - OH still wont even talk about it until after wedding is paid for (even though it already is)

We are bit different. NO BABIES for us, (been there done that lol) we will:

    - hopefully go on honeymoon

    - build large extention on our house

    - and I am going to write a book (a dream of mine since I was small)

I know exactly what you mean! I posted a while back something like 'what are you most looking forward to after wedding' and mine was babies and just being able to chill out and watch tele etc at night!! I soooo can't wait for our big day but really had pretty much enough of the planning and organising now so right with ya!

We've already got a little boy and no more babies planned for us. I go into my final year at uni 3 weeks after the wedding so hopefully I can concentrate all my energy on that unlike this year where I spent most of my time on hitched and not enough on uni work.

The plan then is a decent job for me and live happily ever after with my little family . . . thats not too much to ask is it?

It's so nice to hear everyones plans! Would be interesting to come back in five yrs time and see where we all are!!!

We plan to move down to Cornwall in 2012. We go there for 3 or 4 holidays a year and have now decided it will be more cost effective to move lol!!! We are going to save enough to live on for 6 months down there while we look for jobs etc etc. We've already been trying for babies for over a year but as I have PCOS it's taking longer than we had hoped but we'll put more effort into that after the wedding Smiley smile

Well we already have our little family of 3, an 8 year old girl, 4 year old boy and an 11 month old girl. We already have our house and do plan on more decoration in the future.

Our imediate plans are to have a long weekend city break without the children. I can't go for too long as i would be worried too much about the kids. After we shall go back to our normal life, its perfect the way it is so i expect no changes, well apart from my last name...lol

I'm hoping for a mini-moon on the Monday after we get married to somewhere like York for a couple of nights before heading back to the big bad world of work.

Then it's helping my best friend get ready for her civil partnership in May followed by our honeymoon. We're thinking of Cuba at the moment. Then just to enjoy being married really. Might look into buying a house together then children at some point. Our vague plan was married age 26 then children at 28 and 30. I'll be 25 when we get married but OH will be 26 so not bad so far ?

Immediately after wedding: 2 nights in lovely hotel locally (but not too local) then get homes for xmas eve, first xmas with my Hubby!

Later down the line: Proper honeymoon in New Zealand, a month or so traveling in a campervan.

Then I'm in 2 minds about babies. I love love the idea of trying for one and starting our own family, but I also want some time to enjoy being together with a few nice holidays and as has already been said, having some money! I imagine I will go off the pill and let what will be - be.

You hear so much about post wedding blues - which I can udnerstand as planning it does take up so much of your time. But I really hope I'm not that bad!

Ours is a minimoon somewhere for the week after the wedding and then a 5 week long honeymoon in the September.

We're looking to buy another house at the moment but haven't seen anything that's right so we'll continue with that. We want to buy another couple to do up and sell over the course of the next couple of years whilst we're enjoying our time in London.

I'm intending to expand my business and then a few years time, we'll sell the properties and buy a house for us to live in. Hopefully then we'll look at starting a family.

I'm looking forward to enjoying the next few years as a married woman, building up my career and just enjoying each other before a family (hopefully) comes along.

We decided on honigmoon that we'd look at moving house, something came up straight away and we went for it! So, we're moving on Thursday! ?

We're also planning honigmoon part 2 which is in September - we fly into Washington and out of Vegas, just deciding what to do and how to get to Vegas.

We had a long "courtship" (8.5 years) with loads of fun and holidays, and as we're both currently 32 it's time for us to try and expand our new family.

Plans are as follows: Straight after wedding make the most of OH's family being over from New Zealand and then we will be off on honeymoon. Save for a 2 month trip back to NZ to see if i like it and then make plans to move there. Alternatively if i dont then we have to rejig these ideas slightly!! haaaa

    Our plans are to:

Have a mini moon - we are then moving to Worcestershire either saving enough to live off for 6 months but also looking for a job there. I started a business not long ago but put it on a back burner till after the wedding so will be going full force on this!

I cannot WAIT till we move and be closer to my family ? (OH family live all over the UK (just so it didnt sound like I was moving him away from his family lol))

    Minimoon

Then honeymoon autumn this year/spring next

And house and baby - but I'm not sure which order. Logic tells me we should get on the housing ladder but living in London that's difficult and I don't want to be too old before we try (currently 29) We'll need a deposit of £30k though, and we er don't have anything near that yet.

I am so with you TheFutureMrsClarke....first and foremost after the wedding we're looking forward to being able to treat ourselves to a little something we haven't in a long time (in my case an updated wardrobe lol!) as all our pennies have been going into the wedding and any blips (ie broken cars and cookers!) that have happened along the way! Then hopefully after Christmas we'll start saving again, this time for a deposit on a house of our own (we're in a lovely rented place at the moment, but would love a house to call our own!)

Hopefully then a year or 2 down the line we'll be able to have a baby - I'd have one earlier if we could, but I want a baby to come into a stable environment and the unpredictability of renting isn't ideal (not with our previous experiences of landlords anyhow! Dodgy thieving swines!) xx

Hopefully, plan a honeymoon for around 6 months after the wedding once we have saved some more money

Then we'd like to move house and have another baby but that's a few years away I think, we'd like our daughter to be around 4 when we have the next one so got a little wait for this.

I'd also love to start my own business but can't see us ever having enough money to set up, good to have dreams though!
