Ooh fun! although I'm not really well travelled!

    Scotland

Glasgow a few times when I was little, Aberdeen to my uncles wedding

    England

Lived in Manchester until I was 6, Liverpool - to see a holiday fling many moons ago, all of the theme parks!, blackpool, portsmouth a very messy drunken night for my OH's birthday surprise! Isle of Wight (gorgeous!!) for 2 years then moved on to London - where I am now.

    Wales

Lived on Anglesey until I was 16 starting off in Dulas then Llanerchymedd, then Amlwch. Moved to Bangor - and loved it! stayed there until I was 26.

    Ireland

Dublin - for St Patricks weekend a while back

    Abroad

Paris - to see the Spice Girls when I was 16 - amazing! Majorca - club 18-30, fantastic! and a couple more times as I love the place. Ibiza - for a change! Greece, where I had an accident - yuk! Tenerife, where the sand confused me but the sights were lovely. San francisco/Los Angeles/Las Vegas -for OH's cousins 21st birthday amazing place, would love to return but it costs a pretty penny!

    I think thats it!

Honeymoon is going to be Turkey, where abouts are you going?? xx

Oooooh I've been around (!). Let me think....

    Abroad

Spain - Majorca, Menorca, Tenerife, Benidorm, Barcelona

France - Paris, Brittany, Normandy, mid-Atlantic coast region

    Netherlands - Amsterdam

    Belgium - Bruges, Brussels

Germany - drove through on way to Poland

    Poland - Zakopane

Czech - Prague & outside Prague up in the mountains, Brno Lake

Denmark - Copenhagen & surrounding areas towards the sea

    Finland - Helsinki

Italy - Pisa, Lucca, Florence, mountain region / coast in Tuscany

    Greece - Corfu, Rhodes, Crete

    Morocco - Marrakech,

USA - New York, New Jersey, LA

Vietnam - Hanoi, Ha Long Bay

    China - all over

Australia - Syndney & up coast New South Wales

    New Zealand - all over

    Ireland - Dublin

    Mexico - Cancun

Real mix of trips there from family holidays as a child, 18-30 holidays, school trips, hen parties, backpacking and lots of city breaks down with H2B! I was really keen to see lots of places before I 'settle down' so looking back over that I think I've done OK!

Current honeymoon plan = Cook Islands in South Pacific & San Fran for a final blow out before (hopefully) babies!

Still love it, just drag h around the shops there now, we are going to have a day there at xmas to see it decorated. Its only 30 minutes from home, just don't go as much now as would like. Must be cause of the pennies! ?

Forgot UK! I've been all over as have family all over, lived in different places, friends from Uni live in different places etc etc....For England it's probably easier to say the places I haven't been to - notably Cornwall (I'm saving it for family holidays!) & I also need to explore more of Suffolk and Norfolk too.

Wales - north - Conway, Llandudno, Snowdonia etc and also Cardiff and Caerphilly.

Scotland - Edinburgh, Stirling, Glasgow, Fort William area, Mull and north into the Highlands up to Inverness.

I've also been to Isle of Man and Jersey - though need to get to the rest of the Channel Islands one day!

I don't think I have ever left to be fair ? I was 18 months old when we moved away and now 36. But stayed at my nans all the time, then in my teens stayed there once I got a car every other weekend she would give me petrol money and bought me my 1st car. Spent alott of time with my cousin around the pubs in later years. But most saturdays where spent shopping in pride hill and the darwin centre as my nan went to bingo. She passed away 11 years ago now, but still went there shopping with friends and dragged h there. Go to the family herritage centre now alott to research my geneology, even though not touched it in a while! My granddad passed in Jan and sadly I have not visited since so a shopping trip required and a couple of bounces on the bridge from frankwell carpark required as long as it is not flooded ? The a49 is a calling for a trip me thinks defo now!

I haven't been in the family heritage centre for years! I was helping a relative who was researching out genealogy, the family's been in Shrewsbury since at least 1700!!! Have to admit, I usually go to Telford for shopping as it's flat and inside!! Sorry to hear about your granddad, I can imagine that would make it harder to come down here.

Aww, this is a fab idea for a thread! I don't think I'm very well travelled. Been to quite a few places in the UK and Europe but not much past that!

Scotland: Glasgow, Edinburgh, Aberdeen, Pitlochry, Loch Ness, Loch Lomond, Loch Fyne, all over the Trossachs, Dundee, Carnoustie, Montrose, St Andrews, Ayr, Largs and most of the rest of Scotland but not as holidays. Basically all over the west of Scotland! I've never been any further north than Loch Ness though.

Ireland (and Northern Ireland): Dublin and Belfast.

Rest of Europe: France (Calais and the south of France), Germany (Hamburg and near the Rhine), Italy (Rome, Florence, Venice, Naples, Sorrento, Cattolica), Greece (Crete and Tolon), Canaries (Fuereventura, Lanzarote, Gran Canaria, Tenerife), Netherlands, Denmark (Legoland, woo), Portugal (the Algarve), Belgium, Luxembourg.

    Rest of the World: Florida

    I think that's all! ?

I can't believe how many places you all have been! I'm so jealous! I've never been to Europe. Hubby has already been, so he's not dying to go like I am! We should have honeymooned there.

I live in the US. I've been all over the US, a lot of Canada, Mexico and Jamaica twice.

Nowhere exotic, like Maldives, Greece and Turkey. Totally jealous, but love reading all your posts! We have family in Norway and Italy, so no excuse not to go. Just need to plan it.
