o/t Liz Earle had better be worth it! UPDATE

English Girl in Bangkok, 28 March, 2008 at 10:39 Posted on Planning 0 9

After hearing recommendations on here for Liz Earle & wanting nice skin for my wedding. I finally got round to ordering some products online. I paid the relevant shipping costs and... got stung by customs over here! I had to pay another 10 pounds in duty!! ? Think I was unlucky because I've never had a problem with having things delivered before so I'm guessing it's a spot check. Remember I live in a corrupt country! [V]

Anyway I've just tried the stuff and had no reaction to it, so fingers crossed it will be worth it... ?

It's been nearly 2 weeks and I've had no reacton AND yesterday someone commented on how nice my skin was looking! Am a happy bunny and thanks to those people who recommended it. ?id="red">

It's the best stuff I've ever used, and my skin is terrible. I've never found a moisturiser yet (and I've tried hundreds) that don't give me a bad skin reaction, and this one doesn't. The smell is beautiful too.

By the way, they have an outlet on some auction site that sells their seconds (same products just small faults with the packaging) on e-bay. I get mine from their, every little penny and all that!

Ooh thanks for that. I'll have a look for next time.

I have never found a good moisturiser either (have dry sensitive eczema prone skin [xx(])and I've spent so much money trying - my skin hates clarins and clinique, which are amongst the ones I've tried, so I'm hoping this one will be better. It smells nice and I was impressed with how they packaged it. It all came beautifully wrapped in tissue paper with a complimentary gift ?

I hate Liz Earle, it made my skin 10 times worse than it is.

I much prefer Nivea Visage Young, it's a lot cheaper as well.

Nivea's one I've tried and I react very badly to it [V] So fingers crossed that's got something in it that Liz Earle hasn't... Only time will tell!

    Hi there,

I have dry / oily combo skin and suffer with Eczema. I tried Liz Earle hot cloth cleanse and polish and the moisturiser for 12 weeks and my skin was blemish free byt my ezcema got worse and worse. I've stopped using and now use lancome products - my skin has never been so good and even survived the Easter Binge (chocolate etc) without a blemish appearing! I'd say give it a go for at least 2 months and see if it works - I've heard amazing stories but everyone is different. If it doesn't do try Lancome - it's expensive but worth it!

I use Liz Earle twice a day and have been for about a month and my skin looks really good and blemish free!

If you have sensitive skin or dermatitis (like me) I've found the best moisteriser is the facial cream by Oilatum - loads better than most of the expensive stuff I try and even works when my skin flares up. Its also not as greasy as E45.

Thanks. My ecezema will let me know probably within the next 24 hours whether it likes Liz Earle as it usually starts flaring within thst time. The nivea stuff affected my whole body, most other stuff just goes for my face. At least if this doesn't work I;ve got a couple of other brands to try. I've considered Lancome so that will be my next try if this one fails. God ifg I come back in another life I hope someone takes pity on me and gives me good skin!

My typing may be a bit rubbish as I;ve just come back after few roo many vodkas ?id="size1">

I used to use oilatum as a bath product during my worst days of eczema. hated the smell. Didn't realise they had a mosituriser out and definitely can't get it out here. I used aqueous cream for many years but never found a cleanser or toner or soap that would suit my skin.

Has anyone else noticed this new smiley or am I too drunk?!!! It's moving! and
