We wanted to do this today we went into the manchester picadilly train station store on the way home but there were no signs up or anything. Might try a bigger store in liverpool or in piccadilly gardens tomorrow. is it a good selection of stuff still?

We went in today, and either they didn't have much left, or the choices were poor. wasn't very impressed.

in the end we went for some of their 3 for 2 offers on the chinese food.

Thought it might be a bit excessive to buy it for just me.... ☹️ but the scallop starter looked fab! (on the tv ad...)

DWC - its not in the travel stores (station ones) but in the main shops

There was hardly anything left in Victoria at 5pm this evening, But all I cared about was the meltymiddle choc puds!!

And i would get there early - any time i go there for the £10 meal offer the good bits have always gone. though i'm guessing/hoping they have stocked up enough - they've been plugging it enough on tv.

(m&s are so clever the way they do it - they are obviously selling all this fab food if not at a loss then at a significantly reduced profit, but they make it up with people like me saying, ooooh i'll just get my bread/milk/fruit/flowers here while i'm at it... i'm such a sucker! [laugh[)

My other half come home with the gourmet meal for 2 today as I said I wanted to stay in as Ant and Dec's Saturday night takeaway starts tommorw night and I don't want to miss it (sad I know)

He come in beaming at how well he had done, and my pink rose is lovely and sitting in a vase in the kitchen.

He went for a cheese and caramalized onion tart for starters (cheese is my favorite) a peppered steak with creamy mash, and 2 chocolate pots for desert and a lovely bottle of pink Cava-well done M&S!!!!!! (and other half too) ?
