o/t need to let off steam!

mwnci_bach, 31 March, 2010 at 20:59 Posted on Planning 0 5

I took my daughter to swimming lessons yesterday and to cut a long story very short, she was left unattended out of her depth and went under water for about 7 seconds (she is 4 and unable to swim) neither the teacher or the lifeguard had even seen her until I shouted!! I have made a complaint only to be told that after looking at cctv the lifeguard reacted in the correct manner!!!! Im fuming! If i wasnt watching her she may have drowned!

Sorry, had to have a rant!!!

This is utterly appalling and terrifying!

i wouldnt want to see anyone out of a job but this is clearly a training need for all staff involved.

i also think its something the parents of the other kids in the class should know about.....

i feel physically sick when i think of this happening, thank god you had your eye on her, i know im guilty of texting/chatting to other mums/daydreaming when my boys are at lessons.

both of you must be pretty shaken up xx
