OT Pancake day!

I also gave my two pancakes for tea, they loved them we had ours with Jam & Strawberrys

my son (2) not a big fan of them but loved the strawberries

Damn you mentioning that choclate loveliness!! BUT saying that, i have got a bag of giant chocolate buttons. This is going to be amazing!!

Doing savoury and sweet..

Crispy Leeks, bacon and mushroom as a filling, rolled up with cheese sprinkled on top and put under the grill to melt, and then strawberries and blueberries with vanilla carte dor for me, and homemade chocolate sauce and icecream for H2B! nom nom nom.

I don't think I am getting pancakes tonight! ☹️ as I am away working.

Hope OH makes me some at the weekend to make up for it.

never had savoury pancakes before but that sounds lovely!

I couldn't say that I dislike then especially, but I'm neutral at best. We don't have pancakes on Pancake Day.

We were discussing the naming of Pancake Day .v. Shrove Tuesday in work the other day. One person maintained it was a North/South thing but I call it Pancake Day to avoid a religious reference, nothing to do with Northern speak.

Oh yes. We have had lemon and sugar, Syrup tut-tut and cheese and ham. I could only manage two but my boys managed four each little gannits!

Nothing better than Pure Orange Juice and Sugar is there?!... (Unless I'm just being cheap!)

I gave my two pancakes for tea, now they're so full they don't want to eat anything else! I used lemon and sugar and also had pourable maple syrup mmmm! My daughter spread hers with nutella but after 3 pancakes I now feel a bit ? sick!

I had sliced banana, choc sauce and chopped salted penuts (yummy) and one with lemon and sugar and the kids had strawberrys with chocolate and raspberry sauce, h2b had syrup.

I love pancake day.

Damm you all! I really want pancakes but feel like poo so i'm not making them tonight. ☹️

I've just had one with just sugar on and it was lovely! I went a bit overboard with making the pancake mix so I think we'll be having pancakes all week!

I made some for the kids earlier, they had them after their tea with a light sprinkling of sugar, lemon juice (Youngest then sat there licking the lemons saying "Sour! Sour!" lol) and.... smarties!! Weirdos.

I will make them for me and H2B when he gets back from Football later.. Will be about 11pm when I finally get one, can't wait! I've got extra thick double cream, maple syrup and lemon juice at the ready..!

and you can EAT all that that late at night ?! ?

We've just had mince meat & cheese & onion pancakes! Was the first time i tried savoury....they were horrible!! :-(

Never heard of having orange juice on pancakes before....always thought it was just lemon!

Mmmmm ive made american style pancakes with Nutella and a big tub of Marshmallow fluff

Hell yeah, I've not eaten since I had a cheese and onion toasted sarnie at 11:30!

I followed a weightwatchers recipe and had leek, mushroom and cheese pancakes, they were gorgeous

Then had one with just sugar in ?

Tried ours with gravy for the first time and they we ok...then i had sugar and lemon and OH had jam,.....lots and lots of jam!
