O/T Scottish hitchers help required please! (warning - random!)

My 86 year old Grandad has tasked me with finding red bread crumbs (aka "fish dressing" where he grew up in Glasgow)

I'm having no luck in finding any on google - does it exist under another name? All I can find is red breadcrumbs for anglers and unless my Grandad has been eating fish food all this time (although would explain a lot) then I cannae find it!

Any help much obliged! x

    Is definately the ruskoline pictured above - I had this discussion tonight doing online food shopping (future fil is a chef n wanted it ordered) ?

    You can get Ruskoline in any supermarket. I wouldn't have thought of Ruskoline in answer to your question as I thought they were orange so I'd have been crap in helping you.

    I really would have thought supermarkets would have it but if not try a fish shop. Asda do their own version http://groceries.asda.com/asda-estore/search/searchcontainer.jsp?trailSize=1&searchString=fish+crumbs&domainName=Products&headerVersion=v1&_requestid=118793 which I would think are just the same even if they aren't red.

    Purr - yup definitely orange but my Grandad's eyesight is not the greatest (bless!)

    Will have to see if any of the supermarkets daahn Saaarf sell them. Thanks a billion ladies Smiley smile
