O/T sort of ... Does anyone know how to make You Tube videos into mp3 songs?

Paste the Youtube link into the box and hit 'convert'. Wait, then download it and save to your desktop.

There are a few pop ups and annoying adverts you have to wait for to pass, but nothing nasty that I could see - and my PC is fairly well locked down.

I've got it now as I wanted to make sure my instructions were right so if you are having problems send me a private message and I'll email it over for you.

Thanks AJ, that's really helpful info..... I'm after an instrumental version of Moon River, but the only one I can find is on you tube - the original Henry Mancici doesn't quite do it for me! Mind you, OH says it's too compressed so doesn't sound right (he's a pro muso, so REALLY picky!?).

Will try following your instructions to see if I can download it to see if it sounds any better.

YouTube music is of generally poor quality compared to an original CD or high quality MP3.

Music that sounds ok on a phone/ipod will sound very different through a good PA system.

Listening to the track now... I can see why you like it!

Perhaps you can contact the musician - his email address is on the YouTube Page, it was 3 years ago, but this would be your best option to get a decent quality version.

Thanks - I have emailed him and hoping he will send me an mp3 but I wanted this as a back up. This is "our song" but the original isn't appropriate for an entrance song, this version is perfect!
